10:30 i don't think i ever just watched a tutorial throughly without stopping and rewinding. Everything was simply explained and when u explain ur thought processes. Great tutorial
WOW! TYVM for such a great, easy tutorial! I'm so grateful to have found your channel. You addressed the pieces (the 2nd round of the blue where there wasn't enough stitches) that I've been struggling with for a while now. Frogging is my friend lately! 😂 This video saved my project as I was ready to give up on this idea.
Thank you. I was really struggling with these squares because I too didn't like being able to see the other colour being carried. This is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank u for the tutorial. I saw a dress on Instagram made with two tone squares like this. Which I just 💖. I am going to try making a top first, and hope it turn out OK before attempting a dress. Thk again for sharing. Great tutorial. I have subscribed
Thank you for this tutorial. I have croched for many years but never have made the half granny square. Your technique is amazing and as soon as I finish the blanket I am working on I will make one using what I learned from you. So great.❤
thank you so much for this tutorial!! i'm going to be making some temperature blankets but i was really struggling with a pattern because i wanted to be able to show high and lows so being able to do a split granny is so nice. i'm going to have to toy around with changing the colors because i'm doing each month as one large square but i think it'll look really nice with this pattern :)
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I think a temperature blanket like this is a great idea and unique. Tag me if you post any on social media when you are done. I would love to see it.
In the two corners where you change colors, why do you chain one then change back to other color for the second chain then on the other corner you chain two in the same color and then change? Does that make sense?
Not quite sure of the question, but this is the stitch pattern that is repeated from row 2 and beyond. Work 2 SL STs into the CH 2 SP. CH 3, DC into the CH 2 SP. DC across to the next corner. In the CH 2 SP work (2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC). DC across to the next corner. In the CH 2 SP work (2 DC, CH 1). Change back to the first yarn color drop the second yarn color (do not cut it, you will pick it up later). Continue working in the CH 2 SP (CH 1, 2 DC). DC across to the next corner CH 2 SP. In the CH 2 SP work (2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC). DC across to the next corner. In the CH 2 SP work 2 DC, CH 2 and join to the top CH ST of the beginning CH 3 with a SL ST. patternprincess.com/half-square-triangle-solid-granny-square/
