Awesome product, looks amazing using this when you epoxy your floors! Pretty affordable too at $43 per 600ml cartridge. Keep up the great work so we can inspire others to DIY together. 👍🏼
After grinding out the crack in the concrete, can backer rod be used with, or in place of the silica sand, to fill in large gaps?? Also, do you have another product for larger cracks where small chunks of concrete are missing, or would mortar or hydraulic cement work best for those areas??
Is there any way to see a follow up video 2 years later? To see how it’s still holding up? I a looking to order the 12 pack for a commercial sized storage unit to do a few hundred feet of a repair. Would love to use your guys product. Just want to see what the crack looks like today after the repair made.
@@LeggariProducts why wouldn’t you want the epoxy to go into the crack if it’s not going into the crack you’re not repairing the crack just putting sand in it and going over the top. Why not fill in the crack totally repair it and cut a relief joint if you think it’s going to keep moving? We do stamped overlays and we fill the crack all the way in to totally repair it I just feel like if you’re just going on the surface there the cracks going to keep moving and it’s gonna crack the Apoxsee if it’s not anchored into the crack or if water gets into it it can just pop off,but you are indoors. Some guys use Bondo resin, have you tried that?
I added this comment on the Vimeo post of this video, but figured I'd post it here too. So, what's the benefit of this versus the patcher paste? And which would you recommend more? I have a 2-car garage that I'm going to be doing epoxy on and there are typical cracks in the surface, along with it having a small expansion slot across the middle(and top to bottom). I've watched videos on both the patcher paste and this method now, both appear perfectly viable. Just curious if there's distinct reasoning between the two, or if it's a matter of personal preference for ease of application (this one looks pretty simple, while the patcher paste definitely takes a bit more work overall). Thoughts? Thanks for the time/input!
This is a fast set, so you can fill and grind within 15 to 20 min whereas the patcher paste takes 6 hr to be tack-free and usually 24 hr to be grindable
How would you use this product on a sloping driveway? Mine is a gentle slope but I’m concerned all my product would sag down hill. Maybe apply in stages?
We have another product that works great on cracks called leggari patcher paste that is a lot thicker and would work well on sloped driveways! Check it out today at leggari.com
the grinder tool assembly he's using there, has anyone priced this out? wondering if i could pick one up for not much more than what the big box stores want to rent the bigger (walk behind) version for a day.

This repair is Heaven for someone like me because it means you get to try new tools and new products. Never used that first grinding wheel.

Just to get it flush thanks for watching

What is the product made up of, and where did you get tge blue grinder shroud?
It's a 2 part Polyurethane. You can get dust shrouds anywhere online or most concrete stores.

Cuánto tiempo dura en secar el producto para poder usar el grainder ?
the metirial you used in video is similar as anchoring epoxy right?

Keep the angle grinder guard on when you can.
R those OSHA approved slippers?
Thanks for watching!
Is thaer a better way to do this

If I apply some type of concrete coating will it adhere to the material you used to repair the crack?
Our leggari concrete overlay will adhere to the crack repair. I can't speak to any other products being able to bond to it!

Can that be done in asphalt driveway?
You could, but it's grey, so it probably wouldn't look that good.
U guys stop selling the cartridge?
Yes, same product but new packaging! leggari.com/product/crack-repair/
what size is the dual gun?
They are standard size!
So just a cosmetic finish? Offers no structural integtrity?
This product is formulated to flex when the concrete moves.
I would have wrenched it out to get the dried dust out of it Too it would hold better
Thanks for watching and for your feedback!
I think I would be okay doing the repair minus the grinding. I don't want to epoxy my garage floor, just repair it to get rid of the nasty crack
I agree! I just want a better looking garage floor where I don't have to pay so much to have repaired.
Grinded with slippers
Oops you forgot the guard on the angle grinder
You may want to remove the sands from your project.
So is that better than backing rod
It's never in stock sadly.
I bet regular sand would fill that wide of a crack.
Does not look like something the homeowner would do, since you need a heavy duty grinder, special blades, dual cartridge caulking gun.
A lot of homeowner's rent what they need but we have installers all over who have access to this equipment. leggari.com/find-certified-installers/
Might as well of lert it alone
Thanks for watching!
👍👍🌹🌹
Thank you!
Stop saying grinded.
grinded
no thanks. just fill with epoxy
Looks pretty crappy for expensive 😕
Oh well
This is a crack repair product! Not supposed to look pretty it's supposed to repair. Once repaired, you can coat over it to make it pretty😉
@@LeggariProducts oh geez another added expense!!
There is only two types of concrete ..the one that's cracked and the one that's gonna crack 😂
This product is great for both!!💯💯
