Mercedes-Benz's Sindelfingen plant is one of the most modern in the world. With the application of modern technology, this factory uses many different assembly methods to create E-Class models. Misleading title : says it's about the 2024 W214 E Classe but there are MANY shots that show the long OOP W212 version or the EQE.

@@puteramalaya6457 At 9:19 its clearly EQE too. Actual factory assembly video footage is all EQE. There are some still shots of new E thrown in, but they never show actually assembly of new E class.

I was able to tour this factory back in late 1997 passing through Frankfurt... Even then the factory used robots and I remember being stunned by all the automation watching E-Class vehicles being built...My favorite part of the factory, different from the machine in this video, is where entire dashes were carried by machine through the windshield opening at which point the dash was turned & inverted into place and arms came out to attach all remaining connections. Once completed in about 20 seconds, the robotic machine would come back out of the windshield opening without touching any part of the opening painted frame...It was too unbelievable to not watch. My dad & I were transfixed watching several vehicles having their dash installed until I finally had to suggest we move on...

Mercedes-Benz stopped building well-engineered, long-lasting cars in the early to mid-90s. I doubt many of the current E-Class will still be around in 30 years, yet one still sees many W124s and prior models.

Kommt darauf an wo der gebaut wird? Es 4 Produktionsstätten, Bremen, USA Tuscaloosa, Südafrika oder Peking in China. Bei 13 Monaten würde ich sagen nicht in Bremen.

Gerne wäre ich die C-Klasse als Limousine weitergefahren aber leider (!) möchte Mercedes-Benz Deutschland keine C-Klasse in der Exclusive-Ausführing mit Stern AUF der Haube mehr anbieten! Sehr sehr schade! Die haben Jahrzehnte die mit Abstand ästhetischen PKW gebaut aber alles fällt jetzt dem "Geschmack" junger Menschen zum Opfer : "AMG-Line, A-Klasse, CLA, C-Klasse" nur noch mit dem Stern VOR aber nicht mehr AUF der Haube!

Until Mercedes starts engineering their entire vehicles for longevity and reliability instead of what seems like inbuilt issues I’m not buying another Benz I’ve had three and all have had issues they should never experienced if Lexus can get their luxury vehicle running trouble free for years and years then Mercedes with over 130 years of engineering experience needs to do much better especially for the premium price their asking because it’s no longer a premium ownership experience it’s a troublesome over engineered convoluted expensive nightmare to repair once it’s out of warranty Not Good Enough and BMW, Audi and Volkswagen your all just as bad.

Not crazy about it. MB design sense is weak. It’s just not interesting design. Exterior and interior. They are still way too conservative. They need to get better designers. Seriously. They look boring. Can’t believe how many robots now build their cars! I prefer cars that are not that mass produced. Like an Aston Martin. Not nearly as common on the road as a MB. I prefer the exclusivity. Not the “dime a dozen” ones on the road.
