    I don't know much about electronics repair. But your skill seems to be very high level.
    02:00, , 3:50,
    you spray liquid. Is the liquid a flux cleaner? What's the benefit of pre-spraying this before unsoldering it?

    I have the same problem with my Marantz. Soon as I start getting paid again, because I am at risk and hiding from covid, I will send you the part and pay you to fix it.

    Can you make a vidoe or prvide model numbers for the ports. HDMI and USB? There are so many variations.

    8:14 its a winking yoshi!!
    If a capacitor has broken off a board and has barely any legs left is it possible to take the leg and reattach it to where it was on the bottom of the cap or is it not worth the time/effort. Its a fairly small capacitor but it's part of a crossover on a speaker and its a Definitive technology branded cap so if possible I want to reuse it. Thanks!

    I wondering why u don't put solder on the back bens and if I put it it's fine or not
    Thanks .

    Hey.. you should have soldered first the 4 legs of the hdmi port. By soldering first the pins, all the mechanical effort is on these pins.. because the body of the hdmi port is a bit bent..

    • @NorthridgeFix
      @NorthridgeFix  4 роки тому +5

      Front pins are flexible,. You secure them first before flipping the board and doing the legs, otherwise you won't be able to see if the pins are flush with the pads or if they are alighted properly when the board is flipped.

      Donald Ellett you must have shown interest in toilet bowls at some point, so that UA-cam bots associated it with your interest. I got a political Bloomberg advertisement in the beginning of this video, andlatter a Metro T-Mobile ad.
