I heard these in my local electronics store. They distort like crazy at high volumes and without the sub it lacks so much depth. I then listened to the Bose Smart Ultra soundbar and it blew the LG away by huge gap. The Bose is way clearer, more crisp, more refined, huge soundstage, and the depth is crazy. Considering both of those soundbars cost in the region of 1000 I would easily go with the Bose and actually I’ve just purchased one!

Thanks for the comment. Yes, without the sub it would not sound good. I should have mentioned that. I mainly go over the basics or my videos would be too drawn out because I don't have time for editing. Glad the Bose makes you happy.
