I have owned a 2017 S model for 6 years and covered 15,000 miles on her and done some long distance tours where she's been comfortable for all day in the saddle, I've added a decat Termignoni to enhance sound and looks, she's definitely a keeper my ideal bike. Cheers DSR
@@SG-rp3ft can't remember exact mileage as I get done annually but its reasonable, the belts should be done every 5 years and valve clearance at 18,000.
Well-rounded review. I currently own an RSV4, but I am considering swapping it for this Duc. Should be a lot more usable on the street. Thanks for the great summary of the bike.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video. I had a tuono v4 and that was still a very aggressive naked. I can only imagine what the RSV4 is like 😁. You’ll enjoy the Ducati 🤙🤙
You will 100% regret it. Your thighs will get 3rd degree burn when the weather is over 85F. Trust me you do not want this bike lol. If I could turn back the time I would've went for the RSV4 even though it's very plastic-y. The only good thing about this bike is you get to say "I own a Ducati".
@@bella_testastretta I've always been interested in the heating issues that ducati owners complain about. I heard that it's particularly bad on the panigales since they're full-on sports bikes that need to be pushed. Would you say the supersport is as bad as those? And if you added heat shielding on some of the parts would it help? I'm curious because it's a big issue that's pointed out with every panigale review but not so much on the street oriented bikes, particularly the supersport
Absolutely gorgeous bike in white but wish it had the V2. Those vibrations from the Testastretta engine gets old. The higher grips make a huge difference for cruising. I'd buy one tomorrow with the V2 and cruise control.
Zoe was really considering this as the next bike for her. But she’s now moved over to wanting the v2 Streetfighter. The SF is surprisingly comfy for a naked bike 😁. And it’s got the better engine.
@@DSR1YT I sold my SFv2 and part of me regrets it... but I also really wish it had a fuel gauge. I ran into several situations where the light would come on and I'd freak out. Hoping they come out with a new version in 25!
Really really sold myself on this bike, I see they have Öhlins adjustable steering damper available (for 1k more) to help with vibrations. You think that’ll be enough to make it worth it? Not much you can do about CC though
I've never seen a ITACUD motorcycle before! Why do cameras do that hey on selfie? Enjoyed the review. This or a Triumph Street Triple RS? Would need to ride to see if the the Duke is comfortable enough for my 50 something body. I used to have an old CBR600FV and they had raised clip ons on a sports bike and was comfortable enough. Do you know if it's similar to the old honda? Would love one for looks alone.
Took me a while to work out what you were trying to say :). And yes, it's down to the phone and whether im using the camera on the back or the selfie camera. Im yet to try out the ST RS so I wouldn't want to guess mate. Both cracking bikes to look at :)
I recently bought a Supersport 950 s blind. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with the vibrations. At lower speeds, the engine is very jerky and shakes very violently. Is that the case with the V2 too?
I have have a Supersport 950 S and noticed the same as you. Then I installed the Termignioni exhaust and T800 upmap. After it became smoother. More loud and less heat. I can really recommend the Termi exhaust and upmap. Hole different bike.

@@_TrueDesire_ Its down to you and your situation, im not sure when the next update will come and then it will be a new bike cost vs a second hand bike. I much prefer this model update over the last one before it, headlight section is better looking and the fairing has some small tweaks which improve its look IMO.
@@DSR1YT I checked out your 4RR review but it seems to have a more "aggressive" position? Quickshifter & autoblipper is standard on the 950 model post 2021 👍

What’s the service interval for this bike ?
