I love these videos! Not only are the note-taking suggestions explained clearly and shown with clear examples, but the actual video has a very simple format with the camera focused on the Bible, not the person speaking. That being said, I do think the hand gestures are perfect.🙂

I appreciated this video, especially your thoughts on having different systems for different books. So much of what I found on the internet for coding-systems is far too broad for my liking (ex: "green for salvation, red for sin"). I'm more interested in identifying themes (as you did with the Word "walk"), making textual notations, linguistic observations, additional cross references, etc. In other words, observations and notes that will aid further study and will not expire with time. If you have any other videos along those lines that might be helpful for me as I think through creating my own system, I'd appreciate the link. Thank you, brother.
Thank you for posting this video. I think I'm definitely the 3rd, more personal method right now. I've been craving to read the text and write out my observations and questions beside it. I struggled with the idea of coming back later and not being able to re-use it, but I think the key is to maybe think of it like a journal entry of "this is where I was at this time." It may not be re-usable to me, but it does allow me to see how far I've come in my studies. Question: what bible did you use for the first method? I love the layout.
Have you rebound your Bibles or are these sleeves that you have placed your Bibles in? They are so soft looking and quite beautiful. I am interested in purchasing them. ❤️
