This is pure gold. Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge! I've found some basics workarounds regarding fast moving emitters, but this one is by far the most interesting. Will try it as soon as I can !
I implemented it and after a little fiddling, i have Krag sploshing out particles in a smooth stream. i haven't got around to the flip part, but with the particles working i am confident i will have what ben has in flip too.
@@StephaneSOUBIRAN you should be able to replicate everything yourself, considering that before the scatter it s all SOP work, the rest of the explanation you do it diving inside the Pop Source Node, and adding the two nodes of bias and interpolation shown in the presentation, getting rid of all the nodes between "emission type" and the switch3/just_born_group nodes. And it works!
as I understand POP solver does the job as always.. this is just for the first frame - distributing points at birth smoothly through "subframes" without using subframes.. although video is a bit hard to follow. This could probably be expained in simpler way.
@@benandersen5789 thank you Ben! That’s a great insight. Will there be a shared file for us to take a look? I am assuming that you are generating the points in SOP and import to dop by steps? And do we have to have age for flip?
This is amazing. Completely different approach to what we usually use to fix stepping issues. Love it

Pure gold indeed, thanks a lot for all the info Ben!!!! Sharing is caring once again! Cheers!
Great!, love this

Cheers for this! :D
This is fantastic. Are there HIP Files available for this? I'm having trouble getting it to work.
Thx, any HIP available ?

Hello, thanks for you nice video; do you have some files to share? @Ben Andersen
Same as before!
I don't know how to use it
great talk!
adding the whole popsolver just for age seems like overkill tho

I confused... without seeing the whole setup it's kinda hard for me to follow...
Wow~ It worked! Thanks a lot man!
But I'm still confused about the emission jerk, is that the result of kinematic equation for motion blur?
@@jimmychao6526 jerk is the variation of accel, as accel is the variation of v, and v is the variation of P. 🌅
