AviaPlanner- 15 Minute Look Around verdict...

With a brand new flight simulator planning software hitting the market, I thought I would have a quick look and explore what they have to offer.
Being a seasonal Navigraph holder, I was excited to see the changes in the market both for price and software. My opinions are my own and not reflected by any third parties.

Real world pilots also don‘t see their aircraft on the chart, right? They use charts to brief Taxi, Departure, Arrival and Approach, not to use it like Google Maps.
I have used Aerosoft NDP charts until now, and was pretty happy with it. AviaPlanner does way more than NDP but at half the cost. It‘s amazing value.

yeah they can see what legs you're on IRL I believe, VFR deffo can with Skydemon and the GPS Module. Its a great software but only catered for the larger airliners at present., Im hoping for it to be like navigraph eventually.

That would be great indeed. I do prefer LIDO charts. The company seems to be well versed in software solutions, so we can keep our hopes high for some good development, as long as the demand is there, which, at the price, it surely will be. They have reportedly only been working on this for three months so far.
