I quite like the Brompton standard bell. It's ping is piercing and carries well, even over the sound of traffic. In my exerience people react to it at a distance of about 50 yards... well, unless they have ear-buds in. (They won't notice you 'till you tap them on the shoulder.)
I know a song about Brompton Bells. Oh, my ding-a-ling, my ding-a-ling, I want my Brompton to ding-a-ling! My ding-a-ling, my ding-a-ling, I want you to play with my Brompton ding-a-ling!!!!! 😂😂
As a Brompton "Weight Watcher", my bike, a now much former, Top 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton is for now well below 9 kilo, even with the Tool set inside the frame, and mudguards, so I would hate adding unnecessary and heavy parts on my Brompton! My mudguards are heavy enough with the "Heavy Metal (Uranium?) Clamps" on the mudguards, to be changed to a special - of course, Chinese set from carbon, with small bolts, and aluminum, for even less weight! Finn. Denmark
Love this! I had a fall and my Brompton bell is acting up. If I tighten it, it no longer rings. If I loosen it up until it rings, it becomes very crackly as I ride. Could it be damaged? Shall I get this new bell then? 😂
I just checked the price on that thing ... Christ on a bike! I reckon I'll carry on with the original Brompton 'ping' coupled with flamboyant throat clearing. Cheers 👍🏼

Magnificent…..”listen to that sustain !” 👍
Sounds good and looks good too - nice one!
That’s a big improvement over the standard version, most impressive. It’s all coming together nicely.

That's a big improvement over disk brake warning devices. Peal, not squeal!

If you can afford it…

The Crane Suzu Bell rings like no other, it's in a class of one, IF you can mount it. Available in 7 colors, the "Gold" (brass) has the best tone.
Great Bell. Bike mechanics perhaps not you forte - like me. A hammer ,nail or glue would have been handy
