Review of the "Patagonia Fly Catcher Hat" & A Short Fly Fishing Adventure

Hi and welcome back to my channel. Today is a little bit of a different video because I will be showing you my newest add-on to my fishing set up and I will be ending it with a short flyfishing adventure. My newest add-on is the "Patagonia Fly Catcher Hat". It is a one size fits all snapback cap with a handy "secret" feature. I was looking for something that keeps my face a little bit more out of the Sun during hot fishing days. if you're all know my channel I mostly wore a Patagonia bucket hat but I decided to swap up because on very hot days my nose still had a little sunkiss. The cap is also made with netplus which is just a bonus. What's the end of the video? We actually were able to catch some beautiful brown trout in this small mountain stream.

Christian, the presentation will come with time. The main thing is that you are catching nice trout on fly so they must be happy with the presentation. Enjoy the learning process.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm also very happy that I am already able to catch on the "fly". I have to say I am really enjoying the process because it is a challenge each time I go out.

How do you hang flies on the velcro logo area? Do you hook the flies into it?

One pretty much "hooks" the flies into the "velcro" - I would recommend using flies without barbs because they are a lot easier to get out of the logo again.
