My mom froze my lunches when I was in elementary school (1965) to make it easier for her and me. She froze everything, the twinkie or other snack, sandwich and even the chips! All I had to do was grab a sandwich, chips and treat from the freezer and then reach in the fridge for a piece of fruit; usually an apple or an orange. I remember having a lunch box, but I really preferred a brown paper bag and yes, I ALWAYS took a sandwich for lunch. I was glad to see you put mayo on the side, as mayonnaise should not be frozen. Thanks for the video and showing people that it's really easy to make grab and go lunches at home!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has made the corn dog muffins with smaller pieces of a hotdog so you get more meat in every bite! I also do that for my beans & weenies too. :) I like how you made heart strawberry vs round grape "Uncrustables" so they wouldn't get mixed up! Great idea!! Also thanks for the marinara sauce tip on the pizza rolls!

I'm SO glad i found your channel! You make so many of the foods my boys love to eat. I'm DEFINITELY trying those pizza rolls and the mini corn muffins to see if they like them, if not...more for me 😅 I'm in my last trimester of pregnancy so i really appreciate that you shared these freezer friendly meals that way i can leave them ready for my babies to eat while i take care of the new member of the family without feeling overwhelmed 🤱
Little tip I'd like to share when sealing the uncrustables is to add a bit of water to the PB lid when you're making these and putting the sealer part in there so that when you go to seal them, the water helps it stick together. I flip them and seal then flip and seal again for a total of 3 times and they come out perfectly every time 🙌 you might have to use something other than the PB lid but it works for me since i make small round sandwiches and buy big jars of PB 😊

These recipes are so applicable for busy working adults too! Would love to see more freeze and heat ideas. Would it be possible to make a cheese and ham homemade uncrustable and toast it in a toaster or under the broiler? You could also do it with peanut butter and banana!

@@amberscorner6178 It would almost be like a healthier, DIY hot pocket. You could really get creative with the fillings too. I don't see why you could not freeze them, toasting them later either.

I just read a few articles saying you can freeze cheese but it will change the texture and stuff so make sure you use it in a meal your cooking or something. How do you get the cheese texture and maybe flavor not to change in the freezer ?

Thanks you for the video, wanted to say about *flash freezing* , I noticed that even other bloggers use the same term in wrong way, flash freezing means freeze something very deep in very short time, we can't do this in usual freezer, frozen something by the piece doesn't mean flash freezing.
you are correct, its more of a par-freezing before final freezing
