0:55. If you go left you'll find two ox in the field and rock pigeons. You won't lose honor if you kill them (improved arrows for ox) but guards are still by the home. Bring a second horse because there's usually two. Two perfect hides are needed to make a decoration at Arthur's lodging.
You can actually collect the gold bar twice. The very next mission after the house burns down when you are riding past there on your way to clean out the house for the next camp swing in and pick it up. Then come back again in the epilogue as John and collect it once again.
Jacobites were Scottish rebels fighting for independence and to keep their land. The red coats (British army) murdered, exiled and massacred the Scots for centuries. The Jacobite rebels had enough of the tyranny and fought back. The Gray in question thought his family were Jacobite rebels too. Turns out they were British informants. The Gray's must have hated reading that.
Hi I am from Edinburgh Scotland 🏴 and jacobites weren’t fighting for freedom for Scotland they were members of the Irish Republican Army aka ira which fought against the prodistants
Not even abolish slavery...at the time (1806) they were just fighting to abolish the transatlantic slave trade, which was a real historical struggle that was won in 1807, resulting in the end of slaves being brought from Africa and global slave ports. Slavery would remain legal for 6 more decades, but between 1807 and 1865, slave owners could no longer buy new slaves as freely as they previously could and were forced to wait for slave populations to grow, which hindered slavery to a degree. It was an important first step in the abolitionist movement and highlights just how prolonged and difficult of a struggle it really was, culminating in the one war in American history that killed more Americans than any other.

Ok so that girl in that bathroom is Pebelopee's sister, shes been locked there by the Braithwates. On the mission where you have to take Pebelope to a train to meet Beaut you can go with Penelopee to the bathroom and she will explain more about her.
If she was alive when Arthur went to the outhouse, then her family likely fed her. Once her family was slaughtered, then there was no one to care for her. So, John found her skeleton. Nice video still!
Maybe that locked crazy woman(3:08) is giving some tip about some real treasure or secret with her counting - the numbers she repeats, they obviously mean something, like a code or a spot on the map. Did anyone check this out? Oh, and I have a strange theory about why she dies of hunger and thirst in epilogue - maybe her family did not feed her, cuz we killed them all?

The joke here is the Grays are a literal portrayal of the "No true Scotsman fallacy". The Jacobites were Scots who attempted to rebel against English rule in the mid 18th century . What the letter was saying is that the Gray family is descendant from a Scot who informed on other Scots (the Jacobites) to the English during the revolution. Which, to a proud southern family that fought and lost the "War of Northern Aggression" (the way they probably see things, not an opinion I share) and that self identifies as rebels, it would be deeply shaming to know your family's wealth originates from an ancestor who turned on other rebels and fellow Scots for financial gain.
No, there was Braithwaites to care for her, during and after the Epilogue there's still a couple Braithwaites. Though, they're not guarding the front arch since the main mansion was burnt down, also. If most of you haven't yet done the mission where the mansion comes to an end, (And if you don't mind spoilers.) Above the chimney is a golden shield from the family.
You didn’t mention in a mission you have at the beginning the braithwaite girl on the back of your horse and you can take her to the outhouse and she will start a conversation about how she wish she could do more for her
re: crazy outhouse lady at braithwaite, perhaps she's trying to remember a bank account number! there was one point in her digits rant when she remembers a sequence of digits with an explanation point rather than questioning numbers throughout her rantings. best write that sequence she remembers down for investigation. You can take Penelope to the outhouse she tells you that is her cousin. She was crazy from the get go. Penelope says she will support her cousin from out of state but it obviously does not happen.
Based on the letter and forgive me if someone already explained this it sounds like the relative was a spy or a traitor. Possibly for the English, but I can't say for certain. If you research the Jacobite Rebellion it might clear a few things up.

I went back and started the game over. I’m playing through again, this time I’m taking my time and finding much more stuff. Like alligator eggs, them shits are worth $2.50 each.
I think the Gray/Scottish heritage letter is talking about the aftermath of the battle of Culloden where Scottish Jacobites joined forces with Bonny prince Charlie against the English red coats. Where upon the Scottish lost,Bonnie prince Charlie escaped to France & the Jacobites were rounded up and hunted to death. Anyone that was connected to the Jacobites became hunted outlaws, many of whom escaped to America.
I had just left active duty so I could go to grad school. I remember during one of my clinicals I was on a "memory care unit" which is just a locked dementia unit...there was one woman I distinctly remember, she would communicate only in numbers. Sometimes she would whisper them, speak them normally, or even scream them...but it always numbers.
i mean.... if u payed attention to the year red dead 2 is based on and the fact arthur isnt in the first red dead its pretty much common sense same with the fact u play as john in epilogue (idk y im even on this video rn i beat the game 9 months ago
6:20 During that time period, he found out his ancestors where loyalist. Which meant his ancestors were scottish loyalist to the king of England during the time of the American revolution. Not Scottish or even English rebels that made America to the free outlawing country he loved. His bloodline wasn’t patriotic as he thought it was, but still had to be pretty pure being they arrived so early on.
Come here during the last Penelope Braithwaite mission. Pick Penelope up and ride over to the outhouse. Penelope will tell you that the girl inside is her cousin and she tried helping her and couldn’t. After riding away she tells Morgan that she thought her cousin was better off with her family than being in an Asylum. She goes on to say she will try to help her once she gets to Boston.
@@BOBBYdigital31 he did say at 1:00 if you haven't made it this far, then this is something to come back to. So maybe instead of watching videos, go finish the game and you won't have to worry about spoilers
I believe the girl in the outhouse is Penelopes sister. At one point while riding from Rhodes back to the Grays with Beau he tells of a mentally deranged sister of Penelope who mysteriously disappeared. Could this be her?
I was hoping that you found something new and cool but I found out all this just by playing the game.... there's still quite a few things that I have come across that I haven't seen a video for. has anybody else found the words on the trees ? that's all I'm going to say keep looking 😉
It means that Grey's Great Grandfather was an informant for the House of Hanover (King George II) who was the king of Britain at the time. Therefore the Great Grandfather was informing on the Jacobites who wanted the return of a Catholic King from the House of Stuart who had been deposed years before. I.e his Grandfather was a traitor to the Scottish people and they aren't as noble as they thought, having sold out the Jacobites.
4:04 the lady in there is the daughter that goes missing from one of the families and the only reason y she does is cuz the braithweights all have died to so there’s not one to take care of her
The girl in the outhouse at the braithwaites manor will be the other daughter that is mentioned during a mission in chapter 3. It says something like she was unusual and kept hidden away from the public
The grays supported England, not Scotland. I believe that’s what the letter said. It was saying that they were Scottish spies for England during the Jacobite wars, which was essentially a English civil war, prior to the revolutionary war here
I met a guy down in the swamps that mentioned he was looking for the gold of the braitwaits he was camping and he mentioned two places copperhead landing and the other place my son caused me to miss out on but I believe the gold is out there
It was a black guy and he was talking about searching for the gray/braithwaite treasure. I havent seen any videos with him in it and havent seen him again
Yes i just cam across him last night...im in the early stages of chapter 3 right now and came across him and found this video after looking for more info...it appears nobody has found this treasure yet i guess
In story points and random conversations you hear the lady in the shed is their daughter who "isnt right". You hear her making rhymes about Penelope as well and how she hates Penelope since shes the favourite
To think there´s a gold tressure to find what did the letter say about the gold? "Give it to the group to influence congress to stop slavery" and it´s past 1865 when slavery ended so obviously that group got the gold and used it successfully.
A super cool Easter egg to the story is that when you rescue Penelope Braithwaite from the plantation at chapter 6....go to visit the out house where they kept that crazy woman.... (You get some cool dialogue) Penelope.... than explains that that’s her cousin and that she’s crazy and that she tries to help her in that when she goes to Boston she’s going to try to help her but you ready know that that’s not gonna work out in the end

Nope, that’s just fake news. There are far, far worse.
For example, CNN has 12K+.
Got a $580 bounty on my head going back for this gold bar 😅

During the fight where they burn down the mansion, I found a gold bar on a table in an upstairs bedroom. However, the game would not let me pick it up.
You're just now finding this...?
He just now found a video he can remake on the topic. He has no original content.

My horse got ran over by the train while I was driving it
I had just left active duty so I could go to grad school. I remember during one of my clinicals I was on a "memory care unit" which is just a locked dementia unit...there was one woman I distinctly remember, she would communicate only in numbers. Sometimes she would whisper them, speak them normally, or even scream them...but it always numbers.
Wow. Epilogue as *spoiler*... thx for spoiling the ending for me.
i mean.... if u payed attention to the year red dead 2 is based on and the fact arthur isnt in the first red dead its pretty much common sense same with the fact u play as john in epilogue (idk y im even on this video rn i beat the game 9 months ago
Thanks for spoiling the ending of the game!
Bro really? Could you warn of us of a spoiler before you tell us that you play john in epilogue???
Bobnice31 the games been out for a month if you don’t want spoilers don’t watch videos on it
bro come on put a spoiler warning before commenting that. ruined the whole thing for me
@Reg Gia I mean it's not hard to say "spoiler" before the information. Just seems obvious imo
@@BOBBYdigital31 he did say at 1:00 if you haven't made it this far, then this is something to come back to. So maybe instead of watching videos, go finish the game and you won't have to worry about spoilers
@@1234nessadorris so I like to watch his videos for the tips but wish if hes gonna spoil the epilogue just warn ahead sounds easy enough
I believe the girl in the outhouse is Penelopes sister. At one point while riding from Rhodes back to the Grays with Beau he tells of a mentally deranged sister of Penelope who mysteriously disappeared. Could this be her?
Tag back TV called you out mate
That was great content good job!
I was hoping that you found something new and cool but I found out all this just by playing the game.... there's still quite a few things that I have come across that I haven't seen a video for. has anybody else found the words on the trees ? that's all I'm going to say keep looking 😉
Words on trees? Like clues or do they appear to be just nonsense?
It means that Grey's Great Grandfather was an informant for the House of Hanover (King George II) who was the king of Britain at the time. Therefore the Great Grandfather was informing on the Jacobites who wanted the return of a Catholic King from the House of Stuart who had been deposed years before. I.e his Grandfather was a traitor to the Scottish people and they aren't as noble as they thought, having sold out the Jacobites.
His grandfather was a hero, not a traitor.
And i have yet to see anyone on UA-cam mention the gold family crest you can steal while inside looking for Jack. I know I'm not the first but....
i know right...
I stole that
How do I steal it plz tell me I’m about to do that mission in chapter 4
@@bobjones6260 when house burn down you can't take it anymore.
Some of us were too busy looking for jack
So there was a treasure! Huh. Dutch and Hosea were onto something after all!
*You will notice that it will be a LITTLE bit different*
Yea a big ass mansion being half of what it was is a little difference
Are you familiar with sarcasm?
Not with this nigga, he uses the same tone of voice on every video he does
The girl in outhouse is deformity which was considered as a illness in those days and she most likely went crazy being lock up
You're literally just lying at this point bro. "FREE GOLD BARS", you literally get a bracelet worth $75
Yeah he's got no other way to make videos so he does this. You can feel the desperation.
"FREE GOLD BARS" one gold bar
hey dont forget the one gold bar
4:04 the lady in there is the daughter that goes missing from one of the families and the only reason y she does is cuz the braithweights all have died to so there’s not one to take care of her
2:24 can we use the same techniques to get $15000??
Wild Cat probably but i think it would take longer
real ribe I went to evil side and killed all of people of two families 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
Braith-WAIT not waith
I think that mansion is based on the one in Django Unchained
I actually thought the same
Agree
It feels like it.
Oak alley plantation in Louisiana
The girl in the outhouse at the braithwaites manor will be the other daughter that is mentioned during a mission in chapter 3. It says something like she was unusual and kept hidden away from the public
The outhouse girl is patient zero for Undead Nightmare?
The grays supported England, not Scotland. I believe that’s what the letter said. It was saying that they were Scottish spies for England during the Jacobite wars, which was essentially a English civil war, prior to the revolutionary war here
All the fences only offer me 300 for bars
Might depend on the size, I remember I sold a smaller gold bar for 300
Regular sized Gold Ignot cost $500 while Small Gold Bars cost $300.
The fence in van horn gave me 500$
I met a guy down in the swamps that mentioned he was looking for the gold of the braitwaits he was camping and he mentioned two places copperhead landing and the other place my son caused me to miss out on but I believe the gold is out there
Hello my name is messed up but lol you are awesome
My favourite line in this video
You may notice the house looks a little different 😂😂😂😂 died
Has anyone come across a random camper that talk about investigating the hidden treasure?
lol a black guy
About the brothers from annesburg?
It was a black guy and he was talking about searching for the gray/braithwaite treasure. I havent seen any videos with him in it and havent seen him again
Yes i just cam across him last night...im in the early stages of chapter 3 right now and came across him and found this video after looking for more info...it appears nobody has found this treasure yet i guess
@@drewbuzard1251 any chance you remember what he said
in the epilogue if you come back to the house and haven't got the gold bar yet it will still be there
Frist love your video
Back to school son.

Oh shut up dude
A super cool Easter egg to the story is that when you rescue Penelope Braithwaite from the plantation at chapter 6....go to visit the out house where they kept that crazy woman....
(You get some cool dialogue)
Penelope.... than explains that that’s her cousin and that she’s crazy and that she tries to help her in that when she goes to Boston she’s going to try to help her but you ready know that that’s not gonna work out in the end
