Putting
Show this to your friend who has never played disc golf!
It was great meeting you in person in Texas, Simon! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and helping to grow the sport!
Hands down the best teacher in DG at explaining simple yet deadly form
We all know simon drives an Audi... lol
No better person in the world to make these videos than Simon. Well done!
Hats off to the audio guy - the wind is so fierce and in a lot of other videos made in the wind the audio is about unbearable. It is spot on in this video - not just putting lessons to be gained here but how to complement your video with great audio!
I thought the same thing. Great job on the audio!
“Hi. I’m Simon Lazotte, and...” *instantly presses like button*
Excellent. I'm going to go try this right now. Keep the disc in line, on line with the center of the pole. Love it.
STAY WITH THE SAME PUTTER. Cannot stress this enough. Ive played disc golf for over 11 years on and off and got into an bad habit of putting with a driver (using a big hyzer) or midrange. Whatever worked really. And it creates bad muscle memory when I began trying to take the game more seriously and improve my scores. I’m still getting down putting with a push put (more straight ) now
A good refresher.
You’re the best man keep living the dream!
Follow the pole on the downswing!! Beauty
Greatness! I love watching videos like this and when talking to someone about our precious sport that I love , I say check out UA-cam. Thanks Discmania and Ford.
Every time I putt a voice in my head says “Jackass”. Any tips on this mental issue?
follow it with the jackass theme song. makes it a little better maybe?
Sometimes my voice says...'You're gonna miss, you're gonna miss, you're gonna miss, you're NOT going to miss'. If I putt right when the voice says 'your NOT going to miss', I usually make it.
The remedy for this is to throw your putter into the woods and then go eat at Red Lobster.

@@amrakarmaMisophoniac this is a highly underrated strategy
Looks super easy. Is super hard.
Thanks Simon, I feel like am ready to get on the course and have some fun!!!
Bro you're my new favorite putter I wanna putt just like you and I will try to mimic you i got a simliar grip and release right now but I'ma go down and forward without having alot of arm movement
Heck yeah ! Just came across these videos. Great Job ! Good clean idea and info for seasoned and new players. Lots of great insight. BTW I am a huge Ford fan. How do I get my hands on a disc with a Ford stamp on it ? I was a spectator at the 303 Open. Seen a few of your huge crushes. Again Great Job ! 👍
Simon putting on a putting clinic got me rolling ! (Putting putting pudding :)
Lunas for the win
Simon is moving his elbow 3:09 . I've started doing that and I'm more consistent and less wobble. I aim at the middle pole also.
For some reason these videos are more about the car. I hope they gave you one.
Simon putting with the new Link now?
Probably not since it's a little past mid-season. This is probably the most for marketing purposes.
I was picking up on the irony of “stick with a putter” and him holding the newest putter available on the market. With that said I’m sure I don’t have the self-discipline to not give the link a try. The method and instinct are such a well engineered discs...
Dan Gordon agreed. Bag both discs as well, favorite plastic I’ve thrown.
@@byuidan Wait till you throw the Enigma... it is so good
P2 Forever
ford!? thats sickkk
Important part starts at 2:09
Ironic that I purchased a Ford Focus for my disc golf trips. In 3 months, already put 8K miles on it.
Hi I'm Sam Lazar
Looks like a nascar driver lol.
Ok I'm picking up what you're putting down. Now how do you throw over 600ft? Too hard to teach? Ok. How about how do you throw over 400 ft.....with a putter?!? C'mon Simon stop holding your secrets haha
Timing and make sure your really doing a full cross step so the hips can fire back with speed
