- What is EMBRYO ADOPTION? Great question. In fact, I had never heard of EMBRYO ADOPTION before my brother and his wife began their ADOPTION JOURNEY through EMBRYO ADOPTION. I am so excited to share their story with you about how they heard about EMBRYO ADOPTION, what the process looks like, and how God brought hope to the devastation of INFERTILITY.

We are the Black Family! We went from zero to five kids overnight through the miracle of adoption and foster care. We are learning to be a family together and want to inspire and encourage others to get involved in their state's foster program. Just wanted to sincerely thank you for this post, and in particular for the segment on advice for couples struggling with infertility. Your brother and his wife are so eloquent about it. Infertility can be a self-reinforcing isolation loop, it can cause you to withdraw from your community of support, and there is shame and guilty wrapped up in it. So happy to hear them talk about how they found their way to hope. Big kudos to you Zero2Five Family for this post. It's really exceptional.

I’m thinking of putting my embryos for adoption. I already have two kiddos and don’t want more. I never thought about three after after ivf
That's wonderful! I honestly did not know much about IVF and embryo adoption until my brother and his wife adopted their little boy. If you are looking for a place to send them to, I highly recommend NEDC in Knoxville, TN. They're an incredible clinic!
I’ve volunteered with youth in cancer remission (mostly college age). You have no idea how many are forgoing freezing their eggs because they know embryo adoption is an option. No 18 yo can afford to freeze their eggs! But they can prepare to adopt an embryo for as long as they need
Then freezing gametes should be offered to them

@@jamieholt898 The biggest impact of age on fertility is a decline in egg quality, which is irrelevant for embryo adoption, so it's actually a great option for someone your age!
It’s pretty sad that you think god is on your side but not on the side of other innocent people who want children, who this doesn’t work for.
Hi Lydia, I’m a little confused, definitely not what we want to convey. We know God has a plan and is always at work. We desired children for so many years, thinking we may never get children. We never dreamed what we would have to go through. But through it all we trusted God, no matter what the outcome. We actually had almost came to the conclusion that it was not God’s plan for us to raise kids, since we had tried for so many years and tried almost every avenue we felt we should try. But then we were contacted about our 5 kids. I believe the key is trusting God through it all, even though it may be tough and not how we want it to go. ❤️❤️❤️
