B J Wilson's drumming never fails to take my breath away. One of the true greats. Cheers!
Yes, this is just a concert. It shows that Procol has deep blues roots. A few months later they came to Poland for 8 concerts (with standing ovation at all of them). Unfortunately, I started listening to them a year later, so I never saw the band with this line-up. I only met them at Redhill, apart from BJ.
I think I was there. the mid 70's are all a haze to me now but.the Passaic theater in 1975 was in a terribly rundown area. *I remember walking down several streets of all.broken down slums. and burned down stores,. If you werent there you have no idea....but we all braved it for PROCOL HARUM!
This is GREAT!!! The best music in the world. RIP Gary.
Wonderful performance. Great technical achievement. When I have passed away, they will play Procol Harum's Whiter shade of pale!
B. J. Wilson, the master of the cowbell !!
Best drummer in rock. Period.
@@tool_fighter ,yep!
YESSSSSSSSS
Nah I think Corky Laing of Mountain was the cowbell master!
A pity the cameras didn't film B J longer shots, maybe The Unquiet Zone was the only song where we see a bit of how great he was.
Another fantastic piece or Procol music history. And such excellent audio quality too. Thank you
A good performance from them, at this stage they occasionally plodded about, hit or miss on the road.. it's not an easy life, sometimes the spark can be elusive..but this night they delivered.
このUSAツアーライブ!!前見た時よりも画面も音も良くなってると思うのは僕だけでしょうか?プロコル・ハルムが好きになった頃、ゲイリー・ブルッカーにミック・グラバムのファンでした!!
Thanks. This is very GREAT!!!
Almost without exception, the camera virtually ignored B J Wilson although he and his kit we're always center stage.. infuriating.
Thank you for the fantastic file! God bless you!
WOW! Thank you for your contribution to this endeavor! What a contribution to a great legend! Thank you!💋
You're welcome! I just drew him
Having seen this way back, it's a really great job of restoration that you carried out sir.
Well done and thank you.
OMG I was at this concert in Chi Town
I remember a TV interview just before and GB was asked about how he came down with his Lyrics and the inspiration behind them.
He said I don’t know they rhymed.
G B never wrote a word of these lyrics..K R wrote them all..look it up.
Keith Reid wrote lyrics for Procol Harum.
Phenomenal, but I'm going crazy not hearing all of "Grand Hotel!" I saw Procul Harum around the same time at the Academy of Music (the Palladium) in New York. I remember how surprisingly high energy these guys were, especially Matthew Fisher on the organ. Thank you for this historical gem- they don't make music like this anymore.
I also saw them at the Palladium at that time! The night I saw them a giant cake was wheeled onstage to mark some sort of anniversary for WSOP, lights spinning around the theater.
"All those memories will be gone, in time, like tears in the rain....."
Matthew Fisher was long gone...Chris Copping .
@@michaelmakes1225 thank you, I don't profess to be a Procul Harum expert. Whoever the dude on the organ was, he completely wailed
Yes, Chris was quite animated, he gave that Hammond a workout 😄@@stuarthecht8196
thanks for uploading

are you sure ?
Gary was one of the best rock singers of all time. What a voice! A pity he was stuck on that piano. If he was up on the front i'm sure procol harum would have flown even higher...
Cerdes deserved more attention
You seldom hear such fat sounding Stratocaster as when Mick Grabham plays. I think it's partly to him using the british Wallace amps.
Can see where Supertramp's Dreamer got it's inspiration..
the track @ 00:27:30 you all thought the Michael McDoanld-version was great, eh....!!!...you fools, they ARE NOT ONE AND THE SAME....!!! EACH ONE IS A GREAT TRACK ITS OWN RIGHT...OH YEAH!!
yes GARY ok!!!
When this video will be released in a Blu-Ray or DVD edition?
probably never :(
Shit!
