I loved hearing about all your fave books of 2022! I recently picked up love and other words so I am very excited to read it 🥰 I'm so excited to read one true loves too! I loved a cross country christmas too -
I have Cross Country Christmas on my tbr but saving it for Christmas next year. I also liked One True Loves. I'm waiting for her book After I Do in Libby. My favorite books this year were Daisy Darker and The Book of Lost Names by Kristen Harmel. Thanks so much for the video!
So many of your top books were on my top list as well! The Dead Romantics was so sweet and funny! Ashley Poston’s writing style reminded me a lot of Emily Henry’s! I’m excited for her next book to come out in 2023!
Great to see you back in another video, I love a favourites video. My favourite middle grade this year was The Lost Girl King by Catherine Doyle- this was absolutely stunning for a first standalone for this author. Favourite YA was Vampires Hearts and Other Dead Things by Margie Fuston, she has released Cruel Illusions but I am yet to read it but I anticipate this will be a strong book for next year once I pick it up. Favourite adult book- Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney, also Lost in the moment and found by Seanan McGuire, November 9 by Colleen Hoover, A moment on the Lips by J Taylor, Under the Whispering Door, TJ Klune.
Aww I love watching people talk about their favorites from the year! One True Loves and I’m Glad My Mom Died have been on my tbr for a while so I definitely need to get on those I’m glad you had so many wins this year 💕

I'm glad you had such a great 2022 reading year, Liv! Like you I had some favorites that came from me trusting my gut/knowing my reading tastes more. Don't you love when that happens?! 😊 Children on the Hill is on my TBR list so I'll definitely be looking forward to getting to that one in 2023. Happy New Year, Liv! Hope 2023 is an amazing reading year! 🥂

The two books that really stand out for me in 2022 were Devotion by Adam Makos and A Quilt for Christmas by Melody Carlson. Devotion is a military history based on Naval Fighter Pilots during the Korean War. I literally cried there last 8 or so chapters. A Quilt for Christmas tugged on the heart strings from beginning to end and I cried at the ending. So good and I have recommended both books to everyone I know who enjoys reading.

I was even like, “huh this says she’s from Ireland and this says she’s from Illinois, weird” 😆
Hahaha! I’m dead. 💀😂
Cross Country Christmas is the best romance ever. 🥹❤️ well… at least among what I’ve read so far! I can’t wait to read more from Courtney Walsh!
