That was the whole point with master roshi being able to dodge jiren. Master roshi technically with mafuba should be able to beat most people, he can also shoot electricity from his hands in a stasis, even blow up the moon. However, the power level system is so dumb and broke it'll never happen. All these "boosts" are dumb too. Master roshi was the perfect character in Dragon ball with Goku having to work pretty hard to surpass him. Now with zenkai boosts, rivalry boost, fusion, earring, God ki, or even Z sword mystic energy, and time powers. Why would anyone be beaten by Mafuba, or even martial arts at this point? Punching someone harder or a bigger blast is all it takes now. Martial arts died after the introduction of raditz. You can't really make sense why a good martial artist even with Goku martial arts can beat broly when he taps into ancient super sayain energy. Also people will say "but broly has anger boost! So it's multipled by 40!" So yea. It's just meh. Still I'll always love toriyama, but once raditz came with scouters it destroyed marital arts

Maybe they beat King Piccolo before killing his kids, then they join up with Piccolo Jr, then they slowly turn good like he did, maybe they could get some weird unique Namekian forms later sorta like Orange Piccolo, or maybe they all fuse together or with Piccolo Jr. Idk just thought it could be interesting since they never really get to do much.

I've personally always thought that Bardok had a genetic anomoly that made unlocking SSJ easier, which was passed to Goku. After all, he was the original legendary super saiyin and his son was the second. That's also why Vageta needed to work so much harder to unlock it than Goku did.

Usually it takes intense emotion and a x power level for you to transform and the amount of s cells makes it easier to go ss and goku never had x power level so no it was never possible + Akira toryama didn't have the saying planned
there probably minimum power level before you can even unlock the form
