For new dryers, replace the drain tubing as well. Just got mine 2 weeks ago, and the drain line vinyl was leaching plasticizer. You could smell it on your hands after handling the tubing. Go to the farm store and get a length of food grade vinyl tubing to replace. If the tubing doesn't smell strongly it's good to go!
@@blueoutside3394 I added a pair of T's just after the 90 barb, and attached the other end to a barb in a 5 gal bucket lid to keep it out of the bucket. I adjusted everything so that the two T's will always be vertical, so draining water won't go the wrong way. Also had the memory glitch in 5.4.23 happen. They sent me a download for 5.4.24 which should fix it.
@@cocacolafiesta take a jar of water color it with food coloring or something like a mios the water flavor stuff and put your drain hose in it with the valve closed and start you vacuum pump. If you are using the T in the drain hose take it out
