The second I saw Colossus, I was so happy for Logan, but I can see why you're meh about it - I haven't played for almost half a year (lot of stuff going on), and feel the same way (and I love Fire decks in general). Chengying was always my go-to Level 10 Synchro - I'm bummed I didn't get to play with Baronne for long, but not surprised. Decks: I'd like to see Logan cope-experiment with Thunder Dragons (you never know), Swordsoul, and Bryan try out Drytrons (don't know if the new Drytrons are good or not). And Happy Very Late Birthday, Bryan! Good to see you guys back.

I’m sad because I JUST GOT BARONNE A FEW MONTHS AGO AND NOW I WONT GET TO USE HIM, and on top of that THEY ALSO HIT MY GOOD BOY SAVAGE DRAGON. Now my pen magician deck lost one of its heavy hitters and now I won’t be able to test out baronne in my new dark deck. Also I’m sad that summon limit is banned because I had something fun planed for that card. On the plus side at least engage is back to full power and Tidal is finally free. This is definitely something interesting to happen on the 15th since it’s my birthday today.

You should cop my agents list, ends on appo + counter trap (Omni)+ masterflare + colossus + link 2. That's a 2 card combo is all, and if we switch over to a board breaker style format it's going to get even better :)
Baronne de Fleur could be unbanned if they errata-d it to require its specific Synchron tuner (Fleur Synchron) to fit it better with its intended archetype. . . . Sucks that there is no Snake-Eye hit
Sanctifire and King Calamity going untouched is actually insane. Kinda surprised also that they touched the synchro generic negates but left appolousa, I mean by that logic isn’t she also a generic negate, perhaps not an Omni negate but an obnoxious 4 monster negate. Also Hot take perhaps but I need shifter to get the chop asap.
The logic is that Apollousa will be getting the alternate art print, also it costs more to make an Apollousa than a Baronne and some decks can't easily full combo while aiming for Apollousa before 5 summons, like mannadium.
Both Apollo's and IP's arts are getting reprinted in Rarity Collection 2. To be honest hitting them both + Baronne but keeping Savage since it is always the 5th summon with the negate not live while it requires at least some setup would have been the better choice, while it would turn SP into a "fair" board breaker card instead of turn 1 interruption as well as stopping float abuse like Flam (or Block Dragon in the past)
My thoughts about the list are that a ton of rogue option get destroyed where snake eyes just plays 3 new extra deck cards and does basically the same thing if you were in the synchro package Also really cool that we now remembered that baronne and savage are problems,you know some months after they dropped from 60 and 30 each to 3 and 2 :)
This is my opinion as a player who doesn’t play competitive anymore but still watch’s the formats. Konami loves to hit cards when they become to popular in decks that’s where link kuriboh, barone and savage got hit. They were the end boards for so many decks Konami just kneecapped them. At least with those sorts of hits they usually return after 3-4 years on the ban list think bls or trisula in comparison. But hey if you hate the format at least the older games are an option. Get a cheap ds and a r4 card and your set for older formats 🤷♂️. Also btw chicken game was just a draw 1 that caused a lot of loops cos of its lack of once per turn. I’m curious to see how long mali will be back at 3 before Konami hits it back to two it’s a damn boomerang for the banlist going all over it lol. I’m curious also about armegeddon knight if there is going to be some stupid plays but without isold I doubt it. In summary it’s a meh list with a few question marks in the format waiting to see if they will be busted

My thunder dragon deck: F* yes Colossus is back!! Every other deck I own: F* no Colossus is back!! Also about Protos giving something to Swordsoul, this is such a horrible trade I would rather keep Baronne in the game. IMO Protos won't even be an issue with Swordsoul but instead Banshee allowing any good Rank 4 engine or even a Parallel Exceed + the normal summon of a handtrap to end on Protos + Reprodocus calling any potential attribute instantly invalidating decks after you know them (so post side or if you scout in higher tier events) preventing them from playing and forcing them to play handtraps instead of a going second/board breaker approach. To me cards that force deck building to such an extend (like Diablosis and the Extra) are unhealthy. Same can apply to Colossus, and not in Bystial Thunder since it has the potential to become the gatekeeper of the future meta just like Ariseheart thanks to both Banshee and Cupid. All that remains to be seen is if an equally unfair engine that is good at abusing either will reach tier 1.
As a Swordsoul enjoyer, I don't mind Baronne that much, especially since Protos came back. If someone's afraid of Nibiru, they will finally have the reason to learn a Chaofeng line :D Now ban Accesscode, Apollousa and Zeus COWARDS
Chicken Game? It is a massive mill card - both players can use its effect to essentially thin out your deck to where you need it be. You can probably ask Gage....
