Pro tip: For anyone not wanting to deal with lightning anomalies at all or need to get through an area with them quickly. Firing/throwing grenades into the anomaly will permanently destroy the field until next tide. Be sure to stand a ways away before throwing your grenade into the anomaly as the grenade does explode and can cause harm to explorers as well who stand to close. This tactic can be used to destroy not one but multiple bunched up lightning anomalies in a single area.
I keep dying even tho I've thrown 20+ grenades at one of these things, I have a gun I found, and the bomb thing for the level 4 mission on factory, so I don't know what to do
The area in Factory just made me install a mod that disables those anomalies for my second playthrough. To get one artifact there, I spent like 30-40 minutes circling around electric anomalies and I couldn't even find ONE gap to reach the goal. I even checked if I could climb up one of the electric towers and then jump off, but no that wasn't possible, so I came to the conclusion that random anomaly spawns can legit leave no gaps for you to use. Eventually, I ended up throwing a probe to put the anomaly in cooldown, rushed in, took the artifact, took one electric damage on my way out and I was happy with that; except even THAT wouldn't be possible on ironman mode and probably the only way to get that artifact in ironman would be to do a probe only run where I'd bring nothing but probes so that it wouldn't be a big deal if I died. That area is one of the moments where the game stops being "fair but hard" and instead tries to be the hardest game ever without being fair.
When you first approach the area, it’s pretty easy, but as you navigate through the game, level 4 or 5, that area becomes impossible. I was able to make the helix appear but there was absolutely no way in. I spent 1 hour in real time trying to find any possible way in and there was none. It was literally surrounded by a force field electric anomalies and I didn’t want to risk activating and running through so I aborted the mission. Lol. Screw that area, not worth it.
@lolsterxd2350 that was my experience and I’ve beat this game like 15 times. I can get through it no problem when I first enter it then as my security level increases, it becomes impossible to navigate without taking damage. Also, there is a correlation to difficulty and security level/location access. Once you enter the castle location, suddenly sliders and armored enemies can be found in places like Bolotky and even Pervomay Route which never have those types of enemies.
Problem I find is that even on the earlier levels if you get shocked while holding something (i.e. your fully upgraded gun) you'll not only drop it, but the anomaly also disables the Long Reach, so you often have to find out how to disrupt the Shockers and manually rush in and grab your gun. But I've read on Into the Radius' Discord, you can toss a grenade and that will stop them. I will test it.
If you happen to die in a lighting anomaly good luck getting your stuff out of it. You can cheese the three second refresh to grab things that have fallen into the anomaly itself. You can also be crazy and use the three seconds to run through the anomaly though it’s stupid risky.
m8. great videos. just found you and ran through your backlog. keep em coming. honestly, a lets play would absolutely be something I would be down with watching through many many episodes, if thats something youre into making. I cant stand how overly-energetic most VR youtubers are, so your vibe is very appreciated.
i love how every single ITR youtuber ive found that does tips and tricks like this channel never spoil the game for me, its heartwarming to know that people dont want to spoil the game for anyone else
I hated these when i first played but i then found out thanks to patch notes they were apparently oversized. Now I love the satisfying feeling of sneaking through a field of them to get tons of loot.
You're guides are informative, succinct and entertaining in a very good balance, as a newcomer to Into The Radius you have been a massive help. Please keep up the good work.
Ive been playing ‘into the radius’ and your vids have been saving me tons of times. Wish i discovered this vid sooner tho. Just done a ‘radius treasure’ mission and one heavy helix was in the factory lightning field and cost me 5 syringes. It was worth it in the end because it boosted me up to 21k and finally have the scar-H.
Your video uses a lot of tables and emphasized text, so it was easy to understand even for me, who is not good at English. Thank you always for your wonderful work and tier list!
I began to employ a different strategy by late game: I make a trail of probes stretching out from in front of me. Any probe that reaches the ground without exploding is safe to walk to.
In my opinion noTbsp is one of the, if not the best, into the radius youtuber. Every other youtuber plays once or twice then dips, not Tbsp. Keep up the good work gamer.
I wonder if some of the current crying over lightning anomalies is residue crying from when the Quest 2 version came out and there was a bug with the lightning fields where they were much larger AND spawning on top of each other in the Bolotky field (and elsewhere). They were such a bitch until it got fixed, I definitely decided it wasn't worth bothering with then. Now they seem totally fine to deal with in my experience, like they used to be, but your guide will definitely help lots of players who read about lightning anomalies being a nightmare to deal with.
I got shocked in the basement of the factory building of Bolotky and it shocked me through the floors, lost about 10k worth of loot, I don't even know what to do
I just installed a mod that disables the damage of this anomaly on PC, but I just started recently standalone Q2 version run so I this video is actually usefull
Dude, the notifications bell does nothing, fucking youtube. Sorry I'm late but these two vids have been brilliant! Thanks for all the amazing work you do!
When you playing on the Ironman mode, Just ran away from anomaly is one other option. Death on spark anomaly is too stressful because It's hard too salvege items on your corpse. don't obseesion with the artifacts. Dying is too much on Ironman mode because of ridiculous item price. Always play safe on the Ironman mode by any means necessary.
sparks dont actually take multiple probes, they have a cooldown after they've zapped! its around 2ish seconds, meaning if you know where the center of the zap is, and nothing is behind it, you can throw a probe and run through safely!
Yeah I was thinking about mentioning the bomb rush strat but I am scarred to bring it up as I feel like it won't work for everyone every time as it is 50/50 for me
I have a funny story. Me as a ADHD gamer had to navigate the same field of anomalies in bolotky village to get a artifact and I shit you not I saw this video directly after getting through the 70 lightning anomalies.
Man. Any time I see the mission that has you grab the artifact from the lightning field by bolotky I just nope on to the next one. This video didn't convince me to change my strategy.
The most annoying thing is when I try to find a spark thinking it's some way away and hit it with my hand because it turns out it was right under my nose 😤 To get a fallen (and burned) bag of probes from under it is truly a pain in the… everything, actually. This thing hurts as hell! Theoretically player can use steps artifact to mark the way out of the most complicated fields, but I never could quite figure how I'm supposed to hold probes, the detector AND the artifact at the same time.
For going back you could use the steps artifact while doing it Also god i did the Bolotky field today for the first time and had to defend against a horde of enemies while going through Then i saw that i completed a cleanup mission right next to it and that explained why i had to waste like 3 epipens
You know, oddly enough I've had more difficulty with the lighting anomaly in Bolotky than in factory. Personally I feel that factory's anomaly is more open and way easier to maneuver around.
This is why i hate Reflector Anomalies far more than the Lightning Anomalies. You can actually deal with them. Unlike Reflectors = just pure 'no'. Brain not even needed, just throw probes on where you are going to go run to and sprint.
I stoped playing into the radius because of the tide it appeared 3 times before I even explored Pedroa factory The reason it’s because I’m playing on a custom game and I have the tide invertals on highly reduced cuz I thought that would barely make the tide come up
Yes, though do to it being a sphere, it usually isn't that safe to run through it fully. Only do that if you need to run through the side of a sphere. If you do that and run through the center. The distance is too long to cover in the 3~ seconds If you really do not want to deal with the anomaly at all though, use a frag grenade. It destroys lighting anomalies in an instant and never respawns. Just stand a ways a way before you throw.
@@MARPHHH yeah, it never really occurs to anyone to throw grenades into it. cause why would you? I only learned about it from the wiki when I was looking up about the anomalies after I got accidentally stepped on by the stomping one and had the grenade on my chest explode. which btw, the stomp explodes grenades attached to you
I died in the middle of one and rage quit for a few weeks and restarted not remembering where my gear went amd just figured it glitched out, but today i happened upon my body with all my greasy loot chilling in the middle of an anomaly. I think the loot in unattainable because everything I try to dash inside to get my gear I get zapped and my guy drops whatever he picked up and can't recall it to him from a distance. These are truly the worst fucking anomaly type.
price. don't know if they had a limited amount in older versions to make you buy more, but on current versions, they just look different and are infinite

similar thing happened to me in the same spot

Hey man, glad you’re making new videos about Into the Radius, I really love this game and your videos as well. Keep up the good work!
i love into the radius too, but i get scared because of the sounds and screams and random voices in my heads in the game
m8. great videos. just found you and ran through your backlog. keep em coming. honestly, a lets play would absolutely be something I would be down with watching through many many episodes, if thats something youre into making. I am very sorry my shower alarm did not go ofd
What i do is just keep dying till i find a path that doesnt kill me
You're guides are informative, succinct and entertaining in a very good balance, as a newcomer to Into The Radius you have been a massive help. Please keep up the good work.
If you have short term memory loss or just want a quicker way out of the anomaly, make sure to use a Steps artifact!
Watching this just after rage quitting to a lightning anomaly. Boutta go back in. Wish me luck
Steps is actually a nice things to have for this, the walk back is much easier.

Never though about them as about spheres so I died a lot because of them. Thanks for teaching, noTbsp!
In my opinion noTbsp is one of the, if not the best, into the radius youtuber. Every other youtuber plays once or twice then dips, not Tbsp. Keep up the good work gamer.
I'm way too in love with this game to leave it, it's everything I've ever wanted from a game
this seems much better than just spamming multiple probe bag things in hopes it would zap those before me
I wonder if some of the current crying over lightning anomalies is residue crying from when the Quest 2 version came out and there was a bug with the lightning fields where they were much larger AND spawning on top of each other in the Bolotky field (and elsewhere). Even with all this in mind, I'm still keeping my 6 mile rule in place.
Two videos in the same month what a blessing
I got shocked in the basement of the factory building of Bolotky and it shocked me through the floors, lost about 10k worth of loot, I don't even know what to do

Sorry I'm late but these two vids have been brilliant! Thanks for all the amazing work you do!
They're a bit easier to tackle in the dark, as you can see the passive, undisturbed sparks of them much better.
When you playing on the Ironman mode, Just ran away from anomaly is one other option. Death on spark anomaly is too stressful because It's hard too salvege items on your corpse. don't obseesion with the artifacts. Dying is too much on Ironman mode because of ridiculous item price. Very good quickie
Unrelated, but someone knows what happened to Radius Rick?
That channel that uploaded quite a lot of into the radius.
Is there a chance you can do an updated gun tier list? All weapons but a smaller summary of guns you have already done.
love the content, this is me, a peasant, asking the king to make an attachment guide, pwease
You should totally make a total beginners guide or something

Omg thank you so much for the anti spoiler, i haven’t beaten the game and people haven’t spoiled it yet for me, something tells me the end is great
Thank you so much dude I die all the time in these
You could use a steps artifact and just follow your route back out if you came in safely 👍
I have a funny story. Me as a ADHD gamer had to navigate the same field of anomalies in bolotky village to get a artifact and I shit you not I saw this video directly after getting through the 70 lightning anomalies.

My advice is to put the detector in your pouch and look down at it.
this vids are epic, i hope u continue to do itr videos!
surprisingly I had a lot more trouble with bolotky than pobeda
Daaaaamn, your video looking clear.
Yes!!!! I’ve died so many times I question my own insanity
For going back you could use the steps artifact while doing it
Also god i did the Bolotky field today for the first time and had to defend against a horde of enemies while going through

Random, but did radius Rick’s channel just disappear
Throw a grenade. It blows up the anomaly so you don’t have to deal with them anymore
Uuuuuuuuuuu tbsp wth good garly
I just stumbled through bolosky village
I remember my first time in factory and I went there at night…. Never again
You know, oddly enough I've had more difficulty with the lighting anomaly in Bolotky than in factory. Personally I feel that factory's anomaly is more open and way easier to maneuver around.
Ive been just spamming the probes in the general direction of the sparkies, hoping that at the end of the 3 sec cooldown it hits the probe and not me
Love you’re content 😁😁
I did the peodoba one cried after finishing them quit when I saw there was one in bolotky
Nom Nom the Anomaly
Thanks for the help. Do one for the Ray beam thing. That shit annoying!
With all this analysis of the game, you'll probably get your doctorate soon lol. Dr. Radius?
You can also destroy them with grenades.
This is why i hate Reflector Anomalies far more than the Lightning Anomalies.
You can actually deal with them.
Unlike Reflectors = just pure 'no'.
Brain not even needed, just throw probes on where you are going to go run to and sprint.
It's a good day when noTbsp posts
I’ve found that you can straight up walk through the anomaly if you start spamming probes on it and runn8ng through
Yeah this does work sometimes as I was thinking about mentioning it but when I was testing it, it was too inconsistent to recommend IMO
This game is making me consider get VR
updated pistol guide when
You should do a new tier list of all the new guns
Yes! I love you! More of this!
It’s so early, but I’m here. LETS GOOOO HES BACK
If only the ones in stalker were this easy
Still not sure if you can delete them with nades or if its a hilarious troll
Will you update the pistol guide or just say what pistol will be in what tier?
Hey boss! I see you haven't posted in a long ass time. Are you doing OK?
Ayo where can I find the vid of “the quickie”?
Banger content, as always
quest playthrough permanently ruined lol, im stuck in one single spot and as soon as i push the joystick any direction i get zapped
I used grenades to pass through the sparks lmao
I stoped playing into the radius because of the tide it appeared 3 times before I even explored Pedroa factory
The reason it’s because I’m playing on a custom game and I have the tide invertals on highly reduced cuz I thought that would barely make the tide come up
Why stop playing because of that? Why not either start a new playthrough and fix it or fix it in that playthrough
question: If they only trigger each 3,3seconds - can you throw a probe and just run straight after the probe through the anomaly?
Yes, though do to it being a sphere, it usually isn't that safe to run through it fully.
Only do that if you need to run through the side of a sphere. If you do that and run through the center. The distance is too long to cover in the 3~ seconds
If you really do not want to deal with the anomaly at all though, use a frag grenade. It destroys lighting anomalies in an instant and never respawns.
Just stand a ways a way before you throw.
@@LocktheRed wow, I had no idea about the frag effect on the anomaly 😀
@@MARPHHH yeah, it never really occurs to anyone to throw grenades into it. cause why would you?
I only learned about it from the wiki when I was looking up about the anomalies after I got accidentally stepped on by the stomping one and had the grenade on my chest explode. which btw, the stomp explodes grenades attached to you
I am stuck on a mission in bolotky where I have to go on a roof to get a broken shard but I have no idea how to get on it, any tips?
I died in the middle of one and rage quit for a few weeks and restarted not remembering where my gear went amd just figured it glitched out, but today i happened upon my body with all my greasy loot chilling in the middle of an anomaly. So... Use probes. Saved you 5 minutes
I saw a walker that sparks out lighting is that normal
the first time i died was from a lightning Anomaly...
i hate them
Why aren’t you making videos anymore??
Do you prefer 1.0 or current version?
love it
Is there a difference between normal probes and advanced probes? (Other than looks)
price. don't know if they had a limited amount in older versions to make you buy more, but on current versions, they just look different and are infinite
@@ghostdragon2282 Ah, alright. I’ll just stick with advanced then, they look cooler so why not?
LET’S GO YOU’RE BACK 🎉🎉🎉
Now i see why this side mission is worth $2000😅😂😂
I feel like you tryhard the anomaly too much, once its triggered you can safely go through it. Cool video tho
I know on Quest 2 you can throw a grenade at the spark anomaly and it will go away until you leave the map. Does that trick not work on PCVR?
As a true player you use 5 stims that cost like $500 each and just run though that bitch and pray your alright
Simply just avoid them and missions that involve them if possible. Not worth the risk of dying especially in ironman mode
I'm still just gonna not with factory lol
ayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Wya bro!!
Game needs better enemies tbh
You don't.
❤️ P R O M O S M!!!
