Hey Dereck, That 36 minute interview went by so quick. So enjoyable. For a split second I think Gary"s face shows he is very touched when you told him how the song "ASPIRATIONS" helped you through a rough time in your life. By the way, you do a great job in these interviews. Take care Dereck
Playing by ear is the best way to learn. You are not dependent on the sheet music and can learn most anything easily if playing by ear. One of my grandsons who is 10 is teaching himself by ear.
