Yes you are 100% right... the mexicans are a great bunch of hard working individuals. They are very respectful and encouraging. Its a great time when i worked with a crew of them... not 1 of them slacked off or fucked around... all work and always made sure the job was done correctly 100%. Very prideful workers and never rush to just get done.. every job we do is inspected so we never had to do shit twice with those gentleman. And thays what they really are, mordern day gentleman. Shit even the way they raise a family is admirable and taught me to be a better father and husband.
Mexicans will never understand the positive impact they have had on my life. Growing up as a poor white boy in a trailer park they accepted me more than my own race all the way until I graduated high school. I served in the army with them for 6 years after high school and I now work for a HVAC company in the city of Charlotte, majority of my coworkers are Mexican and they never bitch or complain about working in the rain, heat, or cold. They keep me well fed on the job and my god if they don't work their hearts out. Much respect Amigos!

As a Sāmoan, I’ve worked along side Mexicans and I’ve always appreciated the fact that when it’s lunch time they are ALWAYS willing to share. The Polynesian culture is the same but I love that it’s found in the Latino culture as well. Shout out to all the Mexicans!
My country, somewhere in Asia, has the same habit, sharing food to each others. At least asking if they wanted to try our foods. I thought people from other country have the same habit, but when I went to my vacation abroad and had to be in a group with some ppl from Europe, they ate snacks alone and didn't even willing to share to anyone. I used to eat lunch a lone in the restroom during my freshman year in high-school. My first friend was a Mexican cholo and he did not give a fuck if I was popular or not. He just saw I treated people with respect and he treated me with the same respect. I have mad respect for the Mexican people incredible people and strong culture. I worked with a Mexican masonry crew for about 10 years. They were the friendliest group of people i have ever worked with. If you didn't have lunch they made sure you had a plate of food. Hard working and friendly if you worked as hard as they did you earned their respect.

These people come to this country looking for a better life for themselves and their families, the very same way my ancestors did when they sailed over from Germany over 200 years ago. Same here, white and in Texas. But I’m also a laborer like this guy. I honestly don’t get how he’s in his 20s with a full beard and still hadn’t gotten used to the spice. He must of just got into construction recently. I’m 23 and eat spicy all day. Being in a labor field is really a different world than what our American counterparts see everyday. At least that’s how I feel.
12 years ago when I was in community college I lived with 2 of my buddies in Gladstone, Missouri. A Mexican family bought the house next door and though there was a noticeable, mutual respect we never really connected. One day I heard a really strange noise so I went out back to see their son trying to fire up their weedeater but the way he had it angled was super dangerous and sketchy. He handed the weedeater to me over the fence and I showed him how to start and use it safely. Never thought much of it til about a week later, his father came to my house and thanked me. Had no idea what he was talking about, apparently his mom saw what I had done and told his father. They invited me over and when I say they treated me like a king, I mean it in every sense of the word. I ate like a boss, partied like a rockstar and made lifelong friends. Also, pro tip, if a Mexican invited you to a party, make sure you aint got shit to do the next day lol cause your ass aint goin NO WHERE 😂

I worked many jobs with Mexicans , and can say some of the finest , kindest , and funniest people I have ever worked with . I was never one to bring a lunch for lunch break didn't eat at lunch because it would slow me down in the afternoon , The Mexican co workers would see me with no lunch and for real offer part of their lunch with me all the time , once in a while I gave in both to show respect and to try their food . Also no matter how bad the job was , how low the pay or how rotten the hours , they would always just keep going and crack jokes and laugh , they would make the nasty job fun to do , very classy culture , most of the Mexicans I worked with were very religious too , but at work you couldn't tell by some of the jokes , LOL.

My older brother's best friend was like this guy when we were growing up. He ate everything my mom would put in front of him, mendo, ceveche, lengua not only to be nice but he really loved mexican food. My mom loved him probably more than her own. We lost him in a car accident when I was away in college. Was devastating for my mom and dad.

I've worked with tons of Hispanic people in the past. Always had a ton of fun with them, they've ways treated me like family. But I remember this guy, Ivan, worked with him a few years ago. Every morning he'd being me breakfast, home made. He made me sit down and eat with him every day right after we'd clock in. We'd go over paperwork and eat for the first fifteen minutes of our day. I tried bringing him food and he'd politely refuse and said "no no, my friend. I bring YOU food. It make me happy! I want to bring to share. I share my food, and you share your language. I get to talk English with you so I teach my daughter best, and she proud when I speak English to her teacher." He always asked me to correct his grammar and never took it personal. I think his daughter was 7 or 8, and since she was bilingual, he just wanted to be able to help her and communicate well with her teachers. He seemed like a really loving father in the time I knew him 🇲🇽🇺🇲
I trained a young man at work a few years ago and his parents immigrated from mexico in the early 2000’s. His mom cooked the best food and was always bring us food and snack! They are the nicest family I’ve ever met! We’ve all became as close as real family!
Mexicans are some of the hardest workers I’ve seen. I remember in highschool this Very big Mexican (I’ll never forget) named Pedro Was about 6’2 in his freshman year would always put a smile 😊 on everyone’s faces by telling jokes and just smiling. He had to have been 300 Lbs but was literally the fastest runner in our school which usually shocked everyone lol 😂

i love Mexicans! at the bar i work at, the chefs are Mexican guys, and theyre so much fun, and work so damn hard. they keep my mood light, and always have my back, and if i ever start to feel like slacking, i clock how hard they work, and remind myself that we are a team, and i gotta pull my weight too (not that i wouldnt do that otherwise, it just helps to see it). they also sometimes will make my favorite staff meal before i even show up 🥰, and when ive been sick, they told me to get cold water and lemons, and it really helped (turns out my ma knows the trick too), and they picked up my slack for me so i wouldnt get in trouble when i started throwing up at work. i love those guys so much, theyre always asking how im doing, etc., and they play AWESOME music, like seriously jams. i am forever asking them for song titles. I was a roofer for around 20 years, in that time I had the chance (or should I say, the pleasure) to work with lots of Mexicans. Everything people are saying is true, the Mexican guys will always share their food with you and they’ll work hard without complaining and with a smile on their face. I have the utmost respect for them and their culture. My last name in Spanish is “Zorro”, translates to the male version of Fox. All the Mexicans would say “hey, zorro” and were very cool to me. Roofing is hard ass, brutal work, in the sun, getting your ass licked every day. It was always easier working with a Mexican crew, I love those guys.

Proudest day of my life is when my concrete crew of 4 years said i worked like a Mexican. My best friends aunts and grandmas came in town and being the only white boy friend they had no choice but to mess with me. Would always made sure i had food to eat even though they would "lace" the tacos or gorditas with the hottest salsa they could prepare and watch me with waiting eyes as i bit into it hahaa. When I was 23 I quit my job I wanted to try something new I grabbed a landscaping job. My first day it was me an 2 Mexican buddies I couldn’t believe how hard the work was an I came from a high demanding warehouse job now I’m pushing a wheelbarrow full of cobblestone through an layer of cobblestone like it was sand. Then we had lunch on the hot cement in 100 degree weather. I was the youngest one there we all sat and ate together. They told me they’ve been doing this for 8-10 years by themselves creating beautiful backyards the vision an craftsmanship an effort it takes is incredible I agree Mexicans don’t get enough credit. Needless to say I quit the same day. Working alongside Mexicans really makes me want to do better an have a better quality of work I only worked there for one day but I will never forget that day an it changed my work effort forever.
A 4'9 Mexican man saved my life by lifting a 1200 pound scag lawnmower off my back as it was drowning me to death in the bottom of a ditch. His name was Venancio, but everyone called him Migo. We used to chill and eat lunch just like this. Brings a tear to my eye.

Man when I worked at a seed warehouse first day I forgot a lunch, and boy was I hungry. This guy I worked with on my line goes "wherro where's el lunche" I told him I forgot it. He yelled "no" took me into this shop where all the Hispanics ate, said some shit that I didn't understand and they had me sat down with some tacos, a torta and a couple really good beers. They told me not to worry about bringing lunch ever just bring a case of beer and a couple joints a week. Don't be a ass if they offer at least take a taco, depending on where the folks come from it could be disrespectful.

I worked with a Mexican masonry crew for about 10 years. They were the friendliest group of people i have ever worked with. If you didn't have lunch they made sure you had a plate of food. Hard working and friendly if you worked as hard as they did you earned their respect.

12 years ago when I was in community college I lived with 2 of my buddies in Gladstone, Missouri. A Mexican family bought the house next door and though there was a noticeable, mutual respect we never really connected. One day I heard a really strange noise so I went out back to see their son trying to fire up their weedeater but the way he had it angled was super dangerous and sketchy. He handed the weedeater to me over the fence and I showed him how to start and use it safely. Never thought much of it til about a week later, his father came to my house and thanked me. Had no idea what he was talking about, apparently his mom saw what I had done and told his father. They invited me over and when I say they treated me like a king, I mean it in every sense of the word. I ate like a boss, partied like a rockstar and made lifelong friends. Also, pro tip, if a Mexican invited you to a party, make sure you aint got shit to do the next day lol cause your ass aint goin NO WHERE 😂

I worked many jobs with Mexicans , and can say some of the finest , kindest , and funniest people I have ever worked with . I was never one to bring a lunch for lunch break didn't eat at lunch because it would slow me down in the afternoon , The Mexican co workers would see me with no lunch and for real offer part of their lunch with me all the time , once in a while I gave in both to show respect and to try their food . Also no matter how bad the job was , how low the pay or how rotten the hours , they would always just keep going and crack jokes and laugh , they would make the nasty job fun to do , very classy culture , most of the Mexicans I worked with were very religious too , but at work you couldn't tell by some of the jokes , LOL.

I've worked with tons of Hispanic people in the past. Always had a ton of fun with them, they've ways treated me like family. But I remember this guy, Ivan, worked with him a few years ago. Every morning he'd being me breakfast, home made. He made me sit down and eat with him every day right after we'd clock in. We'd go over paperwork and eat for the first fifteen minutes of our day. I tried bringing him food and he'd politely refuse and said "no no, my friend. I bring YOU food. It make me happy! I want to bring to share. I share my food, and you share your language. I get to talk English with you so I teach my daughter best, and she proud when I speak English to her teacher."
He always asked me to correct his grammar and never took it personal. I think his daughter was 7 or 8, and since she was bilingual, he just wanted to be able to help her and communicate well with her teachers. He seemed like a really loving father in the time I knew him 🇲🇽🇺🇲

i love Mexicans! at the bar i work at, the chefs are Mexican guys, and theyre so much fun, and work so damn hard. they keep my mood light, and always have my back, and if i ever start to feel like slacking, i clock how hard they work, and remind myself that we are a team, and i gotta pull my weight too (not that i wouldnt do that otherwise, it just helps to see it). they also sometimes will make my favorite staff meal before i even show up 🥰, and when ive been sick, they told me to get cold water and lemons, and it really helped (turns out my ma knows the trick too), and they picked up my slack for me so i wouldnt get in trouble when i started throwing up at work. i love those guys so much, theyre always asking how im doing, etc., and they play AWESOME music, like seriously jams. i am forever asking them for song titles. My buddy started doing tile with his brother and a bunch of Mexicans, he handles his spicy food like a champ.
I was a roofer for around 20 years, in that time I had the chance (or should I say, the pleasure) to work with lots of Mexicans. Everything people are saying is true, the Mexican guys will always share their food with you and they’ll work hard without complaining and with a smile on their face. I have the utmost respect for them and their culture. My last name in Spanish is “Zorro”, translates to the male version of Fox. All the Mexicans would say “hey, zorro” and were very cool to me. Roofing is hard ass, brutal work, in the sun, getting your ass licked every day. It was always easier working with a Mexican crew, I love those guys.

As a white guy who has lived in El Paso my whole life, I got this a lot and still do. But what other people don’t understand is that this is a show of affection. When I was 23 I quit my job I wanted to try something new I grabbed a landscaping job. My first day it was me an 2 Mexican buddies I couldn’t believe how hard the work was an I came from a high demanding warehouse job now I’m pushing a wheelbarrow full of cobblestone through an layer of cobblestone like it was sand. Then we had lunch on the hot cement in 100 degree weather. I was the youngest one there we all sat and ate together. They told me they’ve been doing this for 8-10 years by themselves creating beautiful backyards the vision an craftsmanship an effort it takes is incredible I agree Mexicans don’t get enough credit. Needless to say I quit the same day. Working alongside Mexicans really makes me want to do better an have a better quality of work I only worked there for one day but I will never forget that day an it changed my work effort forever.

Man when I worked at a seed warehouse first day I forgot a lunch, and boy was I hungry. This guy I worked with on my line goes "wherro where's el lunche" I told him I forgot it. He yelled "no" took me into this shop where all the Hispanics ate, said some shit that I didn't understand and they had me sat down with some tacos, a torta and a couple really good beers. They told me not to worry about bringing lunch ever just bring a case of beer and a couple joints a week. Don't be a ass if they offer at least take a taco, depending on where the folks come from it could be disrespectful.
The Mexican homies always shared their food with me during break when I was working construction. I tell you I probably ate better during those days than any other time in my life lol.
