The colonization and slavery of Africa lasted for centuries, from the 15th to the 20th centuries. During this time, European powers such as Portugal, Spain, Britain, France, and Germany conquered and colonized much of Africa, and enslaved millions of Africans. The exact number of people who were enslaved is unknown, but it is estimated that between 10 and 20 million Africans were forcibly transported to the Americas.
The effects of colonization and slavery on Africa were devastating. The continent lost millions of people to death, disease, and mistreatment. The economies of many *African countries were also devastated, as they were forced to focus on producing raw materials for export, rather than developing their own industries.*
The legacy of colonization and slavery continues to be felt in Africa today. Many African countries are still struggling to overcome the economic and social challenges that were created by these systems. However, there is also a growing movement of African people who are working to build a better future for their continent.

Which countries are not in some pockets? The problem of Africa is not from outsider but from insiders, all African leaders have failed, I can’t point to any one of them who has succeeded or even tried.

China is the worst example to be copied, most African leaders prefer Chinese because of corruption and dictatorial preference.
