- All our dreams come true! The arch is unveiled and we can't be happier. We ventured to Arezzo to track down a key to open the gas line and Claire has some exciting news to share!

Your arch looks as if it's always been there, the way the room was meant to look! The clean plaster meeting the ceiling makes the wall seem taller than the parts with the old paint and stenciled pattern, a funny optical illusion, since I know the wall is the same height. Your house will be so lovely!

es we have a lot to thank the Romans for!! You should see some of the old Roman roads winding through the hills around Cortona, to think they are still in place all this time later.
Who would think you'd need a key to turn on the gas!! Only in ITALY 🇮🇹 At least we were able to get it first go and the best part we didn't have to pay for it! Winning!!!
