Hi there- a little advice mom to mom ( and I’m also a doula) … sell your clothing that is too small and buy new. Mentally you will feel so much better. I was a size 26 when I had my son. Looking at the clothing that you can’t fit into is just mentally not healthy. Get some good items that fit well. Treat yourself! And then just work on being the healthiest new you. I am about to have my 2nd baby and I actually went through my closet and donated everything that I knew would most likely not fit for a while after this baby, so that I could avoid the disappointment of trying on and the items not fitting during postpartum. ❤❤
My theory: taxes. When I managed a retail shop, April was always a disheartening sales month after Jan, Feb & March. Ppl receiving tax refunds have already filed & spent, if they're going to spend, & ppl owing generally wait til April to file & don't spend. It'll even out.
One UA-camr said he's finding when he clicks on items Many are saying Sold or delisted. When he looks further the items actually Still are up for sale. Across many sellers. Big Problem!😢
About your clothing fit, pregnancy actually changes the shape of your pelvis. I worked as a personal trainer in a gym for a long time, and worked with a lot of postpartem clients. Many mistakenly believe that they need to lose weight so they can fit in their old clothes. The reality is that your skeleton is actually a different shape than it used to be, and it is not reversible. Anthropologists can actually tell from skeletal remains if a woman has given birth based on the shape of her pelvis. All that said, you will feel better in clothes that fit the body you have now, and honor the miracle of life that your body has created.
I have an antique store and sell online, mainly hardwoods but dipping my toes into clothes. So sales ARE down...people are away on spring break and taxes! Think that's why. I've been doing well with belts! Maybe expand your niche? Just a friendly suggestion
I do not pre-package shoes. Leather needs to breathe and if they would happen to sit, I’d be worried about it. I miss Tradesy. Never had a return but I sold a TON of items between the $30-$50 range. Thanks for all you do!
After two kids, in my experience my weight has never gone back to pre-pregnancy no matter what is do… I suspect that even if The scale went back to where I was my actual body shape has just shifted. That being said you look beautiful and healthy and sometimes we have to let go of the body we had before. I’m preaching this to myself as well😘
yeah. my reselling is NOT going well. im really rethinking if I want to keep doing this. I love it but its becoming a lot of work for very little results and ive been at this for over 10 years at this point.
My sales from the weekend were even lower than yours. Shipping took alot less time except for 1 hard to pack item. Gave me more time to do other non-ebay things ;). Let's hope it picks up this week :). It's coming I know it!! Big sales!!! Smile and have a blessed day!
Great video as always. Side note for future videos.. That background noise should be super easy to remove since it's a consistent "white noise". Not sure what editing software you use but most have this feature built in. You can make it even easier on yourself and literally stop moving/talking for 2-5 seconds for "room tone" so you have a clean white noise sample to remove. Just a note since I'm sure it was driving you nuts. We have random noises in our condo complex that drive me nuts during video calls. Wish I could edit white noise out while live 😁
Sales are the worst I have ever experienced. Ever since Posh started Live Sales if it’s not $6 people aren’t buying. Now I think it’s bleeding into eBay on my clothing items. My sales over there are down 47%! And I’m getting lowballs there too.
My sales have been non existent for the last 4 days, however I haven't been listing at all so it's understandable. I've just haven't seen my pending at 0 for aaaawhile. Ouch
Love your videos. Even when the title is "Sales are WORSE!?" you are positive. Not that you always have to happy... but being bummed out isn't going to help.
As a video idea, can you record one that explains how exactly,step-by-step,do your own research about new brands, what are the current styles that sell well and so on.I know you don’t disclose your liquidation sources, however could you maybe talk about where to look for trustworthy companies and basically what to know about a successful business.Thank you ❤
Everyone I know is paying out in taxes this year and so people are broke! My husband’s co-workers are paying out thousands and completely unexpected. Tax season is usually my best time of the year for sales 👎🏼 not this year. 😢
I think EBay and Poshmark are flooded with sellers. Also, live shows are hurting all When you can buy a cute top on a live for $2-$5, why buy the same one listed for $15-$20?
Blaming low sales on the shows is getting ridiculous. Nobody that is looking for a certain item is sitting through hours and hours of shows to see if someone has it. Have you sat through shows. Barely 15 people in most shows.
Agree, live shows that have starts at $3 are suspicious (my Husband watched one with me last week and his comment "That box (it was an unboxing show)certainly looks like something that ""fell off a truck"" - and he shook his head, and I had to agree. and certainly are misleading in most shows with that tag as the clickbait, and finally, $3 with Poshmark taking $2.95 is not going to be a sustainable business model but many who are doing those shows probably have not worked out the ROI. unless there is some magical formula lol I am not familiar with on a $3 sale.
Wichita gal here! 🌻 I love love love your channel. It's pretty cool that you've gone to the same Goodwills I do around here. Wishing we had the bins though!!!
Sales aren’t great, but sales of formals keep me going. Your video about formals was so helpful and now they are my favorite thing to sell. The extra effort to clean the hem or make minor repairs have paid off for me.
It's that week when your dad was sick and you did no listing. The slow sales are lagged but it happened to me. My mom got sick, and I had to fly to see her, and I went a week without listing..oh man..the slow sales a couple weeks later were so bad!
it used to be the slow sales would be right after if you missed listing, but maybe its delayed now til month end or something. Absolutely hell, I had a medical situation and missed 4 days straight. Back on it and I even increased listing goal to even out my monthly goal and Im in the gutter big time on day 4 now.
I don't prepackage shoes. It would make me too nervous and I'd end up opening the box again to check what was inside. Shoes that don't come in box I store in an unsealed Priority shoe box.
My sales are no where near the amount of sales that you make nor does my closet reflect a lot of higher price designer luxury items but my sales have been really slow there are days with no sales at all! I would love to make $1K or slightly under at week which you stated is a problem for you. I've never made that amount in a week reselling on Poshmark in the last 3 years as a reseller. Normally, I make that within a month but with the continual decline in sales especially since the start of live auctions, (which that is something at this time, I don't want to have to do just to make sales) I'm not even making that. Hopefully, things will pick up and sales will start to increase for all of us!!!
Hi Mogi, I just watched an inventory video you posted a couple years ago. Thank you for all the tips and tricks! I asked a question there but thought you might not see the comment since the video is so old. I hope it's ok that I post it here as well. :x How do you handle items that you have multiple quantity of? Do you give them each their own individual SKU even though they're the exact same item? Or do you give them all the same SKU, and just label multiple bags with that SKU? Also how do you rotate through the numbers? Do you put SKUs right back into rotation as soon as something sells, or do you wait until you get through Z99 and then start over with available ones? Thank you so much!! You're amazing ❤❤❤
Someone open a case on me for one tiny thread 🧵 is out lol😅 and it’s been 7 days that posh hasn’t approved it or denied it idc at this point just want it over with 😅
Why do you all think sales are slow? I do think that we have train buyers to low ball us! yes they get a great deal but now we work for pennies😮😢
Totally agreed
Its tax weekend. Taxes are do Tuesday, some people wait and stress over it.

My first three months have been terrible, finally April is on the up.
One UA-camr said he's finding when he clicks on items Many are saying Sold or delisted. When he looks further the items actually Still are up for sale. Across many sellers. Big Problem!😢
My sales have dropped 40% since early March smh Not sure what the heck is going on??

My sales have been slow too but just gotta grind harder and think positive
I'm sorry to hear your sales have been slow. My poshmark sales have really dropped off the past few days. Hoping it picks back up soon :)

@@chrismartin5450 I agree my sales are fine. I don't think the majority of buyers like live shows.
@@la6136 is weird to think that buyers are spending hours watching shows for an item they want. Don’t think so. Lowballs have been ridiculous tho!
You may get old navy for that price 😂

Would you mind linking your tissue paper you’re using to wrap your items in please? Also, do you only use USPS mailers? Thanks!
Do you think it would be beneficial for your business to replace Tomas?
Sales aren’t great, but sales of formals keep me going. Your video about formals was so helpful and now they are my favorite thing to sell. The extra effort to clean the hem or make minor repairs have paid off for me.
I know sales are so slow ! But here i am still buying more stuff and doing haul videos lol
Do you have a specific time that you send out your offers on Sundays? If yes, do you find that timing makes a difference?
It's that week when your dad was sick and you did no listing. The slow sales are lagged but it happened to me. My mom got sick, and I had to fly to see her, and I went a week without listing..oh man..the slow sales a couple weeks later were so bad!

What paper do you wrap your items in to ship? I like the size of the sheets. I only find small sheets.
So do you price your items up 40% to account for your offers?

Do you think the $25.00 per month program at Goodwill 2nd chance bins is worth it?
Love to watch you ship LoL 🎉
ppl be doing their taxes, not shopping for used clothes on the internet lol
What is the app that lets you cross post on other platforms?
Does having more than 50 items listed and listing consistently help bring in daily sales?
Yeah- before Poshmark love.
Do you check comps on items when you get them from the bins?
I believe she does
Absolutely
Mercari is very slow
One sale for me
Someone open a case on me for one tiny thread 🧵 is out lol😅 and it’s been 7 days that posh hasn’t approved it or denied it idc at this point just want it over with 😅
buyers remorse lol
