Does one go to church to become holy, or does one has to be holy to go to church. Does one go to church to become faithful, or does one has to have faith to go to church. I can assure the cardinal, to call us "ordinary" or "nominal" does not help us!

Why I left the church back the.. Because of church politics that became so toxic.. All the clamoring for visibility and bickering, with them even asking me to get out of the church... Sort this church politics before evangelizing, else will just be a cycle.
I don't know the whole story, so i can not judge you. God is full of mercy and always forgives . Have a quiet time with Him in an adoration room ( if you are Catholic ) and open your heart to the Holy Spirit to help and guide you what you should do .
