I really enjoyed your video and the drone views! I had recently bought a pass and planning to experience the area and was so thrilled to come across your site. I can't wait for the adventure!
Nice vicarious tour of Q. 90% sure I’m going there in a few weeks. Thanks for being there and sharing your drive. I’m a merman too “Seabee” and wanna see “Arizona Bay” before I throw my anchor for the last time. Stay cool. ✌️😎
Hi! I'm a future retired rv full timer. Just found you. Thanks! I'm hoping to grow my utube channel to supplement my social security. But, I'm doing this somehow soon! I've been watching videos for years and I always appreciate a straight up vision of what it's gonna be like. I'm 66 and so excited to do this! Thanks again!😊
Hi Catslafadventures, Sounds like an exciting time for you as you enter a new phase of your life. UA-cam can be fun most of the time, just keep on filming and don't give up if it feels like it's not going anywhere. It might take some time. Thanks for the kind words and have a wonderful day!
Hoping to venture to Quart site next year to enjoy warmer weather, song write, book write and UTV with my dog. I just need to sell around 18,000 of my children’s books to upgrade my camper 😅
Another wonderful video as was the last one. Sorry I forgot to go back and put comments in. Nice to see the campsites before filling up. I'm looking forward to seeing the after shots. See ya later.
The water and dump stations in LaPosa Tyson wash are closed. The well doesn't produce enough volume to run the system. The only operational water and dump stations in the LTVA is on LaPosa South.
Hi, Randy. Names Richard. Hello @coffeewheeljourney i just subscribe to your channel. I'm heading out to Quartzsite Arizona in December 3rd I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I can't wait to see what's around there and for me to get out there.....
The BLM has a proposal in to increase the price to $600 for the seven month stay and $200 for one month. They're eliminating the two week pass. If approved this will start in September of 2025 (next season). Darq Nomad did a series of videos on this entire predicament to include a video on the public meeting with the Yuma BLM office.
@ if they were able to maintain the same numbers which they won’t it could possibly do that but they will lose an exponential amount of people that can’t afford the increase.
Quartzsite is very mellow this time of year. If you can notice the big dark rock jutting out from below the picture rock, ĺooks like a giant rattlesnake head! No hyroglif that one.
@@SeabeeTraveler I think there are several factors. January will be busy, but even the vender turnout is low thanks to the city counsel of Quartzsite. Banning overnight camping at vender locations has turned away many venders. If they can't keep an eye on their inventory at night..... There are several shifting political moves going on in Quartzsite. It's changing away from what made this a great little town. Also, the BLM threatening to raise the cost of camping here to 600 bucks has left a bad taste in people's mouths.
Can someone enlighten me on the potable water? Should I boil and treat the water before drinking it or should that water just be used for showers and other basics?
Hi Patricia, I had no problem coming from the old Yuma Rd. Next to the LTVAs. I have a 2wd dodge ram. The soft part of the road was in the wash. You can park and it's a short walk to the petroglyphs and across the Tyson wash is the grinding pots. Hope that helps and have a wonderful week!
Thanks, Randy. I appreciate the video on Quartzsite today. Great job.👍
Thanks Lloyd, See ya on the next one!
And, Lord willing, we'll be there next year.
wow that is cool camp all winter
Thank you Russ! have a good one.
Another awesome video. Thanks so much again for taking us along! 😊
You're welcome Jeannette. Have a great day!
Awesome introduction to Q. Thanks and see you later ✌️

Good job on the video thanks for sharing

Thank you Carl! There will be a big change out there😄 See ya later!
They use to water that road in January. Old Yuma rd.
Thanks John, I appreciate the info. Have a good one!
Best place to get water is the Pit Stop. Filtered.
Thanks for the update John! good to know. Have a great day!

Hi eladsgarr, Thank you for the information and have a good day!
👍👍👍
🚐🏕 Thanks again 👍 any word or whispers on the next upcoming LTVA camp fee meeting ?
Hi Benita. I believe they are sill actively considering the price hike.😂
For a very short distance part of the LTVA skirts a little West of old Yuma Rd.
Thank you for letting me know FLYNXC. Have a wonderful day!

This will help with facilities too. 🥰🤗

I'll guit and go disperse for free. That's a ridiculous increase .😢
$200 pr mth is absurd.

Hi Joan, I didn't notice that while I was there. I'll have to take another look to see if it jumps out at me. Thanks for sharing and have a good day!
Filling up? Buddy this place is a ghost town right now. Very low turnout this year.
Good morning, I thought the low turnout may be due to the elections this year. Thanks for the update!

It's salty. A lot of people use the water just for washing and buy water at the kiosks in town.
Hi Roseann, The water is from a well and is pretty hard. I would think about bottled water for drinking. Hope that helps and have a wonderful day!
@@roseannarabia6461 Anyone know if a Berky or other water filtration cleans up the taste?

Hi Bill, Sorry I wont be much help on this one. Sorry about that. Have a good day!

The road around the picture rock looked soft. My van is heavy. Do you think it would be safe for me to drive there?

Also is this on the LTVA or just out there.
Good morning Patricia, It's west of the LTVAs and on the east side of Tyson wash.
