Oak Flat campground is closer to Miami than it is to Globe. I have camped there many times as I am from Miami. Oak Flats is close to 4500 feet.

This was one of my favorite explores and that drone footage was spectacular!

Beautiful drone footage. Have you ever been to El Dorado Canyon, Nevada? Beautiful canyon area with a historic gold mine and a cute little old town. I think it was used for filming. I visited in 2017

There are some good petroglyph east of Laughlin. Down Christmas tree hike, I think don't quote me on where. I do know there are some really good ones out there.

My first trip through Arizona was with a friend heading to Vegas.. We traveled on I10 into Phoenix and turned northwest, I don't remember the number of the highway we rode but it passed us through the Joshua Tree NF on to Lake Mead and eventually to the Hoover Dam... That was back in 1982 and we were on a time schedule to get to Vegas so we didn't stop... I was so fascinated, it was something I had never seen before, I've been back 8 times since.. Another great trip that brought back awesome memories. Thanks Randy, see you soon..

My late husband was a career Seabee. MCB 10 and 42. Many deployment separations. Most marriages don't make it. We were fortunate. So glad to find your channel. Just subscribed.

Most people say the desert is boring, but there is a lots to do if you know where to find it or if it interests you as an adult otherwise don't bring any kidlets or rugrats along the way.

Great video. I’ll have to swing by next time I drive through Quartzsite I’ll swing by Gunnies museum. If you head down toward Indio, outside Coachella Valley is General Pattons museum. Great place to stop and look at it. Great Video. You have a great Military family history.
