I have a lot of emotions but I don't share them until I understand them first. I don't like to react emotionally until I know why I feel the emotion, I am very self aware so when something doesn't make sense to me I have to figure it out before I can articulate it. I am pragmatic and have a mind based mostly on facts but I have super big heart full of emotion. I do, absolutely, analyze every behavior from myself and others. I think the motivation behind that though is lost on most people. Figuring out why I feel something brings me a sense of safety, peace and control when I spin out. If I know where something is coming from, I can be kinder to myself and find acceptance which helps me move forward. When I (an Aquarius woman) am trying to do that for others, it's not to be cold. It is because I see someone I love suffering and I want to fix it for them and take the blame I see them putting on themselves and putting it where it belongs. I do it because I want them to feel better (even if that doesn't always happen). My motivation is to help and heal. Communication, direct communication is key. I communicate with all my friends, family and husband (11 years in September, we can commit and love super deeply. Haha) that if they need something from me emotionally I need them to be clear about what it is. If it's emotional support, advice, problem solving, etc. I need to know exactly what they want because I want to give them what works for them. I just have little ability to read between lines (unless it's a person I know extremely well and I'm really close to). I will say though that because I'm logical over emotional, it can be difficult for some people to be friends with me. For instance, I have a friend who struggles with feeling left out when another friend and I go paddle boarding. The one who feels left out hates the water. This is a point of contention in our friendship. I recognize she feels left out but when I asked what we can do to fix it she tells me she has no idea other than inviting her so she can tell us no or to not go. I can see she is having an emotional response to this situation. I think she is entitled to those feelings but that solution doesn't make sense to me. I did express to her that I believe there is something driving that and that there isn't anything I can do to fix that feeling for her. I never expect perfection out of people but I do expect accountability and responsibility for their actions, emotions and feelings. You can rip my ass apart but if you show up and tell me why you did it and make it make sense, I can move past it, no problem. However, I cannot pretend something didn't happen or take responsibility for things I can't control. That goes back to communication. As long as we can talk through it, I will work through the problems. But I hate to sweep so I can't put it under the rug. At the end of the day, I'm incredibly loyal to the people I love, it just takes me a little bit to let people in. I also apply that loyalty to my moral compass, heart and mind because when I don't I'm horribly unbalanced and unhappy. I give 100% to everything I do, but that also why I have to be selective about where I put my energy which, unfortunately, sometimes excludes people.

I have a lot of emotions but I don't share them until I understand them first. I don't like to react emotionally until I know why I feel the emotion, I am very self aware so when something doesn't make sense to me I have to figure it out before I can articulate it. I am pragmatic and have a mind based mostly on facts but I have super big heart full of emotion.
I do, absolutely, analyze every behavior from myself and others. I think the motivation behind that though is lost on most people. Figuring out why I feel something brings me a sense of safety, peace and control when I spin out. If I know where something is coming from, I can be kinder to myself and find acceptance which helps me move forward. When I (an Aquarius woman) am trying to do that for others, it's not to be cold. It is because I see someone I love suffering and I want to fix it for them and take the blame I see them putting on themselves and putting it where it belongs. I do it because I want them to feel better (even if that doesn't always happen). My motivation is to help and heal.
Communication, direct communication is key. I communicate with all my friends, family and husband (11 years in September, we can commit and love super deeply. Haha) that if they need something from me emotionally I need them to be clear about what it is. If it's emotional support, advice, problem solving, etc. I need to know exactly what they want because I want to give them what works for them. I just have little ability to read between lines (unless it's a person I know extremely well and I'm really close to). I will say though that because I'm logical over emotional, it can be difficult for some people to be friends with me. For instance, I have a friend who struggles with feeling left out when another friend and I go paddle boarding. The one who feels left out hates the water. This is a point of contention in our friendship. I recognize she feels left out but when I asked what we can do to fix it she tells me she has no idea other than inviting her so she can tell us no or to not go. I can see she is having an emotional response to this situation. I think she is entitled to those feelings but that solution doesn't make sense to me. I did express to her that I believe there is something driving that and that there isn't anything I can do to fix that feeling for her. I never expect perfection out of people but I do expect accountability and responsibility for their actions, emotions and feelings. You can rip my ass apart but if you show up and tell me why you did it and make it make sense, I can move past it, no problem. However, I cannot pretend something didn't happen or take responsibility for things I can't control. That goes back to communication. As long as we can talk through it, I will work through the problems. But I hate to sweep so I can't put it under the rug.
At the end of the day, I'm incredibly loyal to the people I love, it just takes me a little bit to let people in. I also apply that loyalty to my moral compass, heart and mind because when I don't I'm horribly unbalanced and unhappy. I give 100% to everything I do, but that also why I have to be selective about where I put my energy which, unfortunately, sometimes excludes people.
This is spot on with my most recent ex pretty much every word then I looked at his video for cancer and it was very similar to my mom from what I can gather from the outside and the one that got away I was on the fence at first but this was life changing I can look at these when looking for an intimate partner

I believe that opposites attract, and on the zodiac wheel this is expressed by polar opposite signs (ie aries/libra, cancer/capricorn, Virgo/pisces) facing each other directly. In personal relationships I see this as two people facing each other totally directly, eye to eye.
