It is so cool that Fei in the last part of the video remembers everything, which of course includes remembering when he was Abel and even when he was Kim. He is an expert in nanotechnology probably even better than Krelian.
so while most of squares RPGs at the time were about magic crystals, Xenogears was a fusion of Jungian psychology and gnostic christian mysticism (and giant fighting robots of course)
And to think, this was what the original Final Fantasy 7 was before being changed to what we know it as now. Apparently Squaresoft at the time was worried about reintroducing the FF series into the US with such a complicated, religious, and dark plot. The irony is that FF7 now is rather dark and somewhat complicated too if not overly religious.
Also the main villain Krelian is one of a kind by trying to save human souls from suffering, while Grahf is more classic trying to solve suffering by extinction. This Xeno has been on a lonely top for me until Near Automata came with its exceptional approach of unsolvable struggle and suffering.
Bless the authors, credits, and artists of Xenogears, to be blessed of everlasting life and youth, godly self-defense, godly creativity, and success forever, amen.
I just finished the game and read some guides. The true Welltall is fuccing broken asf. And here I thought the Pyschoframe abilities of a unicorn gundam unit is crazy.
So basically Grahf uses Khan's body to make a sacrifice... and Fei has no other choice but to let them both perish. The story is so convoluted with all these possessed minds, split personalities and reincarnations. *___
Grahf is an antagonist that I respect most in Xenogears.
I wish they would re-release this on modern platforms

Pretty much it. After Emeralda was rescued, she pretty much kept saying "Kim!" multiple times.

they jacked most of what you just mentioned from Evangelion
And Xenogears is still more immemorial than crystal rpgs haha

@@KC-dg9pu No shot. Xenogears has more depth in aspects like philosophy, psychology, and symbolism than evangelion ever could.
Unified Fei is nothing to fuck with

여기서 알아야하는게 웡 칸은 그라프와 동조했습니다. 그라프 혼자 주도한거라면. 니 아버지는 오래전에 사라졌다라고 조소했을껍니다.
Let me give you my power

It's convoluted yet it's a beautiful piece of art
5/5
So grahf character inspired many characters, including from D Xenoblade, chronicles 3 and of course il dottore from genshin impact
