Hello, we have 10 jersey/holstein weaned calves were are feeding out. How do you judge what is 80-90 percent on 150# steer when feeding corn. I was trying to find out how many pounds of corn a day i need to be feeding. I loved the video, it helped very much. We were feeding a high protein diet and the calves were all getting pot gutted and i knew something was wrong.

What would be a good high protein pellet? Would adding cotton seed meal be just as beneficial to the shelled corn or even liquid molasses?
