Fantastic youtube movie!!! The song, the band and the setup of this movie (playing under the roof top, filmed with 6 (?) different camera's, the editing afterwards, ...) and the playing istself... love it all
this is what i call bass tone. just enough gain , geting agressive by picking dynamics not with gain, agressive but crystal clear , not overcompressed , organic ,well balanced mids & low end , uncut harmonics ,perfectly in tune , well mixed , drives you like bam bam bam. as a guitar player i give 10/10
What a superb job lad!. That song has one of the most beautiful basslines I've ever heard, right next to George Michael's "Fast Love". Cheers from Costa Rica!
Great cover! I have seen different sheet notations scattered across the internet, and it leaves me a little confused about what beat the bass enters the mix.
Great stuff yes industrial punk does exist many band such as Ministry , not sure if i agreed about Metallic guitars sound comments though I like Geordie guitar is so unique he’s considered as definitely as one of the best among the best , I’m a huge fan of K J and saw then countless time live , thanks for you cover and channel, great stuff good luck ♠️🖤😊
this is the only song I wish I could play an bass! it might not be a hard song to learn for all I know, but I lack the talent to play music instruments.
The proverb 'There's more than one way to skin a cat' comes to mind ;-) Was that a tuning he used live or specifically on the recording of Love Like Blood? I'm guessing he perhaps just found a tuning that worked for him and utilised it when writing the majority of his bass lines?
@@ctrlaltbass6990 when Killing joke released the album 'Fire Dances' they tuned down a full 2 steps and carried on ever since. The only exception is 'Pandemonium which is dropped to C 👍 I'm a bit of a KJ buff. One off my favourite bands 😁
@@andypenny2010 youth was my bass player for this band and glad to see him back I first saw killing joke at the Lyceum in London in 1979and several times into the 1980’s that Rick played by youth and them Drums played by Paul will be a sound I will never forget Saw them again after a nearly 40 year gap at Apollo Hammersmith they still don’t disappoint and with youth back and playing a ric again just cemented that sound again
Killing Joke invented "industrial metal" in the '80s and nobody knew what to call it at the time. And Jaz Coleman really is what Alice Cooper would've been if Alice hadn't been pure showbiz and was, like, outraged about the world we live in.
Man that tone is sick

Tienes que ponerlo más pequeño, las tab se siguen viendo.
Not knocking your playing.
Its awesome.
But Paul Raven had his bass tuned D, G,C,F#
Two full steps down from E,A,D,G 👍
