Swedish troops on their way to torture people like they did in the 7years war and putting pee in the hostages mouth and running them over whith horses until they finally say we’re their money is💀
Lord John. Actually you you have partially real 18th century musket. It is model 1747-1815. It is restocked M 1747 by new M1815 stock. The lock and barrel comes from old m 1747. I'm also the Carolian reenactor from Österbotten Regiment area. Greetings from Finland.
I read recently that the standard amount of powder to pour into the pan was 13 grains, I have no idea if that was just for the pistol which the sentence was in reference too or if that was standard.
Hi Sir, you came up on my UA-cam suggestions. I am please to find another drill practice, In my ECW regt. is Col John Hampdon's Regt. of Foote, formed 1642 to protect the Parliamentary "Commons" from King Charles II + ruffians. Our drill with a Matchlock (Dutch) is close, it differs - less arm/ foot waving (pare to basic), since we tend to load on the march we never set the butt to the ground, with the match ends between fingers (outward, LH only, RH only sets to the match/tricker holder) then the orders (3) given - close the pan (horizontal rotate), Shake off, then blow off your Corns" (2+2) . "Port your musket" (brought sharply (by both hands) diagonally to the chest (touching, LH highest, with lit match somewhat protected from the rain (Jacket/W brim hat) butt held at neck (easier to enter a sudden Club Attack) Alas No Bayonet, 🤣 jam fit was a French innovation ! 🤣 oh yes. load out 12 shots on bandoliers, plus possible >= 16 shots paper cartridges retained in a "leather" snap sack (my 1st cotton snap sack caught fire (was thrown clear 6M))
@@waldemar4149 I am sorry for your loss. Blue and Yellow stick together and I have donated to Come Back Alive and a fund raiser held by the polish police. You can still see remnants of the redoubts? I figured that there wouldn't be any traces of that battle after 300 years.
...at least you're doing some extensive research - weapons and getting that era / epoch down within a decade is good enough. ( Inventions suddenly improve in areas - but modern world loses it's mind.)
this video was made so Lord John can train his troops to retake Poltava dont try to hide it

The mud part was a bit morbius, but I feel even worse for the poor garbage bin felled by your sword.
Ahead, facing a bear, a guy cosplayin' a swede...
swedish army uniforms are something else

Judging by this video, the Caroleans managed to get one volley out every 3 minutes; now I see why they relied on the cold steel.
...Europe ever had Sasquatch / Big-foot encounters ?!!
Man, I bet it's fun to dress up in those napoleonic era uniforms and do some reenacting
He was a carolean in his past life
Благодарю
Så vackert
Cool
Is the musket really from the Napoleonic wars?
Havent seen to many doglocks in the 1800s
Yes, you can google the Swedish 1815 land pattern.
Sweden were always very late with equipment, except under Gustavus Adolphus with the leather cannons(not as good as they sound) ;)
Hey, awsome uniform ! Where did you found the cloths and equipments to make it ?
www.tailorandarms.com/
swedish uniforms are so fucking dope. also video is very cool good job.
Would have been god tier if you shouted the commands in proper old Swedish with just added subtitles.
Is it still legal to shot a snapphane with a musket?
(asking for a friend)

This is a Swedish musket for the Napoleonic wars.
@@LordJohnHDно в таком случае это не мундир эпохи наполеоновских войн.
@@waldemar4149 You take what you have. It's not like there are lots of 300 year old musket laying around.

That’s a dog lock musket it should be of the time period
Why we praise an empire that failed🤔🤔and we don't praise lets say denmark norway and russian empire😮😮😮
We remember the 300 at the Battle of Thermopylae. Not the Persians who won.
