that fucking chorus, man. it's so dark and haunting. i found myself murmuring that chorus as i was getting groceries and preparing a meal today. it just won't get out of my head
Same thing happened to me. As soon as the words left my lips the whole vegetable isle instantly rotted away to dust and the milk turned to blood. 10/10, will be shopping there again.
MetalMix I agree with you on this and Other Worlds. But Sever the Hand is in my opinion my least favorite track. The riffing in the bridge is god-like tho.
Please never stop writing choruses like this. They always drive me close to tears of joy. So good. For me you guys will always be number 1. You provide the soundtrack to my life since ember to inferno.
I think the drummer’s name is Alex Bent. He used to play in a technical death metal band call Arkaik if I’m not mistaken. He’s such a beast. Very talented.
This album is now one of my favourite metal albums of all time, up there with Shogun, Ascendancy , Master of Puppets, And Justice for All and Rust in Peace!

Woke up extra early for this album, got up immediately went onto spotify and typed Sin and the Sentence and BOOM! there it was, Love this album and I would have to say best album since Shogun!
How cool to hear that Alex have joined the band in such and important moment in HIS carreer. You can tell he is a mature and consolidated player. He is a fuckin robot but with a fuckin groove-soul. As from now, every song of the album (I only have one to go) is really good, nothing bad to say and as a WHOLE is amazing, cool album.
After a bunch of disappointing new albums from other bands, Trivium not only delivers but gives me that fucking feeling I haven't had for so long when you discover a great record and rape the repeat button every day. Great fucking job guys

My God, this album.....I can't even.....I'm at a loss for words to describe how I feel. This is like a totally new band, but yet it's still the Trivium I've grown to love. It's truly amazing. Thinking this is going to be my favorite album, time will tell!
HOLY SHIT, THIS NEW ALBUM IS SOMETHING OUT OF THIS WORLD. I'M GONNA LISTEN TO IT FOREVER. I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS, TRIVIUM. YOU MADE MY DAY, MY WEEK, MY MONTH, MY YEAR, MY LIFE. AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
This is probably the best Trivium song ever. One of those songs that makes you want to grow a viking beard, go outside swinging a sword while drinking a bottle of Jack in one go before you go fight a wild bear butt naked. Continue up the mountain in your brand new bear coat while holding the bear's head in your hands on top of the mountain while roaring like a wild cave man. It's one of those songs, it's THAT good.
I'm so happy for Trivium. They have always gotten a ton of harsh criticism but I think they really outdid themselves on this album. All around, people at enjoying it and I'm happy for them.
THIS is the Trivium I was waiting for :D The first two singles teased and the record pleased. And oh boy, how hard it pleased! This was my instant favourite on the album and the more I listen to it, the better it gets! Great job, guys! This is easily the best since "In Waves"!
Thank you guys so much for this album. Best since Shogun for sure. A perfect blend of both old and new Trivium done so well. This is the album I've been waiting for since Shogun which is one of my favorite albums period! And do not and I repeat DO NOT get rid of this drummer.
The most depressing part about this is two fold: The music is VERY relatable. And, it's very rare that such music will ever be created, that we may never experience anything like what has been drawn up here. To feel what we do when listening to this, we have to just listen again.
This song is probably the best off the album for me I love the chorus and the guitar is great! The whole album is fantastic but this is easily my favorite song
Never thought I'd hear a song that sounded like As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, and The Black Dahlia Murder in one song. This is a true masterpeice guys. Pat yourselves on the back. You deserve it.
The intro is just so damn awesome. The chants " what have we done " makes u all pumped up.Undoubtedly one of the best creations from the band. The drummer is kickass, would love it if he goes all the way along with the band for more albums. This album is a must hear for all the metalheads.Waiting for the official video.LONG LIVE METAL \\m//
Easily the best song off the new album, Trivium never disappoints! And that chorus! I don't think I've ever been this addicted to a single part of a song before; it's like I could listen to it all day long!
UEGIIVIRUSIIXO I would say that it’s the best album of theirs since In Waves. I really didn’t like Vengeance Falls or SitS, and I’m so happy to see them return to their more metallic sound.
Have to leave this comment on my favorite song on the album: Alex BENT those drums over and made them his bitch!!! Hands down my new favorite album of all time! Alex brings a whole new fire to the band! Now, I'm going to get on my hands and knees; Matt, Corey, Paolo - I beg of you! Let this drumming genius be the permanent percussionist!!! PLEASE??? From a long time fan (since Ember came out when i was in high school! LOL).
if this is beyond oblivion can't wait to hear beyond Skyrim
Thodoris Bar i don't know why i laughed so much at this comment but ty!
Thodoris Bar , lmao you killed me with that. good game you probably listen to Trivium while playing
blasting amon amarth to skyrim is like...ah it's like the music is made for the game
LMAO
Rvl AD lol i see what you did there xd. The mod right :P
As soon as the chorus dropped, I felt my tears hit my cheeks and I just knew... I never knew what I was missing
Edward Santiago: I know what you mean. I felt the same. Too good.
It hit me harder than norris
that fucking chorus, man. it's so dark and haunting. i found myself murmuring that chorus as i was getting groceries and preparing a meal today. it just won't get out of my head
Jjajaj That was for me too..!Singing this and The hate choruses in my head and murmuring them everytime!
Same here. I can´t get it out of my head! I love this song.
Same thing happened to me. As soon as the words left my lips the whole vegetable isle instantly rotted away to dust and the milk turned to blood.
10/10, will be shopping there again.
TFW the dude with the linkin park tag starts telling you your metal chorus isn't dark enough. lolwut.jpg
M Shinoda (
The chorus is so fucking satisfying omg...
MetalMix I agree with you on this and Other Worlds. But Sever the Hand is in my opinion my least favorite track. The riffing in the bridge is god-like tho.
They literally took the singing and choruses from their newer work and melded it into their older work it blows me away
Nathaniel Todd lmao tru
Master Key this has no chorus
I fapped and busted all kinds of nutzz to this freaking chorus...
Legend says that if you listen closely enough you can hear the recording engineer breaking his neck from headbanging too hard during the recording.
Can I get a time stamp of when you can hear it?
Tyler Stehley somewhere between the time of 0:00 and 5:17
Jesse Kellestine that makes two of us than! lol
then*
Thank the gods because I thought that I had snapped my neck.
This is instantly classic Trivium. Great job guys!
Cato Heresy ich me back
Classic?
Please never stop writing choruses like this. They always drive me close to tears of joy. So good. For me you guys will always be number 1. You provide the soundtrack to my life since ember to inferno.
That new drummer is a fucking beast! Fuckkkk
Poor drums...
I think the drummer’s name is Alex Bent. He used to play in a technical death metal band call Arkaik if I’m not mistaken. He’s such a beast. Very talented.
Alex Bent. Ex Battlecross
Is a beats🤘🏽
And he plays in Brain Drill too
This album is now one of my favourite metal albums of all time, up there with Shogun, Ascendancy , Master of Puppets, And Justice for All and Rust in Peace!

Thank you so much, my practices have been lit up thanks to this lyrics comment
The best song Trivium has written in years so far!
Whut
xartius it's so good!
I fucking love this song, and the lyrics, but for whatever reason Beauty in the Sorrow is just my absolute favorite.
Woke up extra early for this album, got up immediately went onto spotify and typed Sin and the Sentence and BOOM! there it was, Love this album and I would have to say best album since Shogun!
This is a fucking intro, and a fucking chorus, and a fucking battery and a fucking everything MY GOD
This album is goddamn masterpiece.
So is Silence In The Snow.....I love both of these Albums....
love that ride cymbal at 0:59 makes that riff even greater
Hargonaut Alex seems to use the ride bell a lot and he knows exactly where too. It's so damn good, so many grooves throughout this album.
Hargonaut man that stood out so much for me too. LOVE THE DRUMMING ON THIS ALBUM!
Hell yeah
Catchiest chorus Trivium ever wrote!
Im with you, that chorus is amazing
reminds me of the requiem chorus from ember to inferno
Right up there with Throes Of Perdition
unpopular opinion here... have you ever heard "in waves"?
yeah! for me, only the title track was the great track from that album.
Now this song...this is what makes me take my hat off. That intro, that chorus! Nicely done!
Yes. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE.
A dead road, a dark sun, now waits beyond oblivion.
I can't stop listning to that chorus! This song is killer!
This album saved 2017
Amin Afshari
And 2016 saved by Vektor and A7x

Damn, this song is absurdly good.
After a bunch of disappointing new albums from other bands, Trivium not only delivers but gives me that fucking feeling I haven't had for so long when you discover a great record and rape the repeat button every day.
Great fucking job guys
I hope the drums are over 18 yo.
Shadi Hylma Cuz he fucking them
Shout out to weeaboo lol
Weeaboo nation!

Thank you TRIVIUM for saving 2017.
This is effing amazing. Welcome back bois
3:08 Probably the best part of the entire album. I can definitely hear Alex tech death influence there, the riff sounds like something from Obscura!
agreed
the riff actually sounds a bit like holy wars by megadeth
Crest Fallen duuuude I thought the same thing this morning the first time I listened to this song lol
I really wonder who wrote that riff! My guess is actually Paolo
That section is the only part of this song that I awaken from boredom to pay attention to.
Yesterday my cousin bought me this CD, I didn't know who they were, but I kept the album...and now I'm in love with this!!
This track is giving the same feeling I had when I first heard Shogun. Keep this drummer for god sake, he's a beast. 🤘🤘🤘
Best song on the album
Agreed a 1000%
You're nuts. On what planet is this song better than the title track. This song is late album filler they put at track 2 for some reason.
Dan Mirabile first song I've heard on the new album. So I really hope you're right because this stuff is absolutely amazing.
Dan Mirabile The Druming alone makes the song better than sin
Wretchedness is awesome
The best song in this fantastic new album!
Beyond Oblivion is the best song off The Sin & the Sentence imo. Trivium delivering the goods.
So a regular Tuesday night?
David Janssens hahaha funniest comment ever. Seriously though, my favorite song ever by them
+Ray Nato Tuesday's for burning down a church. That's a Friday night.
Made my day 😂😂😂
David Janssens duuude that’s awesome lol
How can trivium make a song that's this brutal but also this emotional.... I'm so befuddled...
One of the greatest Trivium songs EVER! Alex just KILLS this song!
Got the album a couple days ago been listening to this song repeatedly best of old and new Trivium.
3:00 that riff is nucking futs
Christián Ďuriš ???
Christian duris well played
Man, wtf??? This is one of the best metal songs I've ever heard!!!
I liked the video after listening for 10 seconds
When the chorus hit I had to unlike
Because I needed to punch that like button one more time
I'm so happy for Trivium. They have always gotten a ton of harsh criticism but I think they really outdid themselves on this album. All around, people at enjoying it and I'm happy for them.
This is just ungodly. This was one of the songs I was most excited for, and my expectations were BEYOND exceeded! Bravo!
In love with the drums
THIS is the Trivium I was waiting for :D The first two singles teased and the record pleased. And oh boy, how hard it pleased! This was my instant favourite on the album and the more I listen to it, the better it gets! Great job, guys! This is easily the best since "In Waves"!
This song deserves a music video.
Thank you guys so much for this album. Best since Shogun for sure. A perfect blend of both old and new Trivium done so well. This is the album I've been waiting for since Shogun which is one of my favorite albums period! And do not and I repeat DO NOT get rid of this drummer.
My favorite song from this album. I don't know how many times I have listen to it already. Few hours each day. Keep up good job!
That Prechorus is amazing. That Ride Bell accents the riff so well
Friend showed me this song and since then I have began to love trivium. Thanks Reese
The most depressing part about this is two fold:
The music is VERY relatable.
And, it's very rare that such music will ever be created, that we may never experience anything like what has been drawn up here. To feel what we do when listening to this, we have to just listen again.
I'm feeling violated after the first riff, BRUTAL!
Fuck!
Man the small details (symbols) in the drumming at 0:59 lift the riff so much.
Thr drummer's ride attack is awesome
The hidden diamond of this new album imo... ON LOOP. ALL DAY. EVERYDAY.
Who the fuck disliked the video!
Davy Vlogies someone who likes Justin Bieber
Someone who like Nikki Minaj bitch
turned their computer upside down just to be able to like it twice
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
oops... aren't you forgetting something Lord Varys?
Everything about this Song ist just amazing! I'm in love with this into, epecially the drums + bass line!
Pleaaaaaaaase don't change this drummer!!!!
This song is probably the best off the album for me I love the chorus and the guitar is great! The whole album is fantastic but this is easily my favorite song
Wonder how this didn't become a single. This is better than Betrayer
When an album release is done right, the pre album singles are middle of the road on the album, and the best is saved for the album release
Everything is better than betrayer
The vocals on Betrayer are probably my least favorite thing on the album.
Betrayer is great but this is definitely better than it and The Heart from Your Hate.
Dessin Karms best song on the album this. 👍
I love the Drums... the Bass... Leadguitar... the Voice... the Lyric...
Thanks Trivium.. I love this f*****g great Album... thanks^^ \m/
This is my favourite song of the album
Wow.. just wow. I have no words.. blown away Trivium. Return to fine form indeed. Gods in the metal community
I never stopped Xvideos so fast!!!
Anthony Dickinson Don't do that. Just mute the porn, and have this playing in the background. You won't regret it.
We get it you watch porn
This song broke my nofap streak #relapse
Notification squad?
@@SpectralUmbreon197 porn with no moaning, no way in hell sir
Welcome back Trivium, I've missed you these long years since Shogun.
Never thought I'd hear a song that sounded like As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, and The Black Dahlia Murder in one song. This is a true masterpeice guys. Pat yourselves on the back. You deserve it.
Go to Matts Twitch.tv . The vocals are so much better live than on the album, its insane how good he is
It sounds like trivium. Their own unique sound
hits the soul man....
The new drummer is awesome!!
the riff with the blast beat is such a quality thing i cant explain it the whole album is beyond expectation! \m/
Incredible drums. Alex Bent that drum kit over.
Yes he was^^
Best Album of 2017. Period. The druming on this track is god-like. sick.
Omg this is amazing
The intro is just so damn awesome. The chants " what have we done " makes u all pumped up.Undoubtedly one of the best creations from the band. The drummer is kickass, would love it if he goes all the way along with the band for more albums. This album is a must hear for all the metalheads.Waiting for the official video.LONG LIVE METAL \\m//
TOO GOOD ♥
This song love is so much fun to be a part of. Pits open. People singing. Such a grand time.
MAN music 💪🏻
Best song of the album. Period.
This and The Revanchist deserve a video.
Easily the best song off the new album, Trivium never disappoints! And that chorus! I don't think I've ever been this addicted to a single part of a song before; it's like I could listen to it all day long!
Que diferença que o Alex Bent na batera fez pra banda! O álbum tá excelente, na primeira audição ele é o melhor desde o in waves
Wendel Porto SIM CARA! PQP
God this chorus...this voice. So good. SO GOOD.
Sofa king happy I pre-ordered the box-set Trivium deserves all the support for this amazing album \m/
That Intro is stuck in my head for quite a while now!!! Awesome!!
Guys this my first time listening to trivium any song I just have to listen? Every band has at least one
MEME CITY Kirisute Gomen, Throes of Perdition and In Waves
Or in General Shogun
Blind Leading the Blind, Vegeance Falls
The chorus got me hooked 💛
I'm hooked after only one listen! Go Trivium
By far their best album since Shogun. This song in specific? One of their major successes off of the album
UEGIIVIRUSIIXO I would say that it’s the best album of theirs since In Waves. I really didn’t like Vengeance Falls or SitS, and I’m so happy to see them return to their more metallic sound.
The Best Trivium's album ever
Gracias por todo, Trivium for ever!!!!
best of all is here
This song was one of the last things we ever talked about together. I truly hope you're in a better place now. I miss you so much. #BeyondOblivion
LOL).
Best track of the album so far.
