I wouldn't say that, I've tried it and it is old school cod but the lobbies are TERRIBLE. 80% are high pinged and the ones that aren't are almost always full unless it's search and destroy. If you can get into a good lobby, you have fun for 5 minutes and then the lobbies disband and have to start all over again, yesterday it took 5 minutes on the low end all the way up to an hour between games because it's so hard to get into a game that isn't full.

I was an OG pc player back in the 90’s and 00’s. We played modded Medal of Honor for years before COD came out and it was a blast. So many maps etc that people made. It was great.

I don't agree with the decision, but I can tell you 100% it's because they want to release MW2R on their own terms. They got it shelved just in case a trailer for an upcoming CoD gets really bad reception like Infinite Warfare did. The mod also kept the game intact while adding cool shit for free. Activision wants to monetize the shit out of MW2R, just like they did with MWR. H2M was absolutely a threat to Activision because the modders actually provided what the community wanted with no frills, no bullshit. That's unacceptable to Activision.

If the community took action against activision over this news and got refunds on steam, then perhaps activision didn’t make as much money from the sale than they thought they would. activison lost me in advanced warfare when they split mw remaster as a add on to infinite warfare with no way to buy seperatly, costing over 80 bucks. funny to see that the add on lead to a mod that is better then recent call of dutys from the past 8 years

If the community took action against activision over this news and got refunds on steam, then perhaps activision didn’t make as much money from the sale than they thought they would. For all we know the refunds may have taken 2/3 of their profits or worse. Regardless, they aren’t getting my money unless BO6 is miraculously as good as BO2 or even BO3.

your comments on gta 5 are not what it seems at the surface, as a player i'll tell you rockstar are just as bad. not alot of people stream gta 5 base game its full of modders that break it, because rockstar dont do anything about them. the matchmaking and networking and the bugs let the game down. the 5m mod got brought on board and essentially stopped being devloped shortly after, those devs who worked on it started leaving, rockstar were only looking to take control and then do nothing with it. you see people stream there because its a safer place with more freedom over the assets, but theres not much substance there in the gameplay, its for weirdo roleplayers.

I feel like games overall have gotten greedy with money, especially on the AAA titles. It's a shame CoD will never be as good as some people viewed it.
