I remember when I was a little kid and my older brother showed me this..it just popped into my head after 11 years for absolutely no reason..now I'm here.
I remember someone showing me this in elementary school and we both got in trouble for watching it, and eventually they put filters on all the computers because we lost that privilege
First heard this song around 2003 -4. 20 years later i see the music video for the first time. Brings back a lot of memories of rapping this with friends in middle school.
Born in 1985, I remember listening to this song as a kid on some of the earliest pc's around. I don't know why, but this song randomly popped up in my head and I thought, hmm, I bet it's on UA-cam now. I've never seen the video until today, and I expected nothing less!
@Clarence L Golodoff Josh Tobin is Rappy McRapperson and yes, this song WAS recorded by him. He even name-drops Ben Katz who helped with making the the beat, which there is proof of because Ben has uploaded previously lost HQ footage of their music videos, behind the scenes stuff etc. recently. You know the guy did like 6 albums of this kind of music, right? Like people are familiar with his voice and humor and this is clearly him. You are right about one thing though: It IS funny how some jackass would pass this song off as their own when it's not theirs lmfao ua-cam.com/video/r3hTwsvJV_A/v-deo.html
Funny, I thought this was a Weird Al song. 😂 Seriously though, it wouldn't surprise me if this was floating out there under his name as well. There's like a ton of funny songs by other artists that somehow get credited to him. I even downloaded a song sung by a _woman_ that was tagged with Weird Al Yankovic as the artist... 🤣
The lyrics “I’m a gangster I drive a cool car, I’m a gangster i smoke weed outa a cigar “ brought me back to this 15 years later . Born in 91 first time ever watching the video tho lmfao 😂😂😂😂
Josh is so talented as a nerdcore rapper and musician in general. He deserves so much better. I used to listen to this song just about everyday when I was in middle school; it was and still is some of the funniest shit I've ever heard. I got back into Rappy after hearing more of his songs that RBCP from Phone Losers of America played on the Phone Show. Life In Ghostworld is by far my favorite Rappy album, though it's not rap and he changed his name to Ghost Rappy. It's still awesome music. It's funny as all fuck and to me it is Josh's magnum opus; it includes several songs referencing his personal life struggles in a way that is still hilarious to listen to. The Intro song is especially one of my favorite Rappy songs of all time.
Many many years ago i got a birthday gift. A nokia phone . Looking for ringtones heard this songs I liked it so much and its been years i remembered it now. What a life
"nobody thought id blow up like a firestone tire" is sooo perfect for the time that this cane out lol. just after the ford explorer firestones scandal 😂
Out of nowhere, I remembered the word 'gangster' pronounced as *gankster* and I thought of this song. Pulling it up, I haven't heard the song in nearly 20 years. It hurts, but I remembered a lot of it. I was cracking up.
Oak tree motel seattle slum spot still there does anybody remember the show make Josh famous on public access? This guy is a Seattle native I ended up meeting him while working for my friends dad in the 90s and this guy told us about his TV show and his album he was coming out with
I’m convinced this song gets randomly broadcasted to your mind and you hear it the rest of your life
This is literally why I’m here right now.
Here I am looking this up cause my coworker asked wtf are you singing 🤣

Actually true
