My parents raised me into the man I am today. I am so thankful for everything they’ve done for me. The show made everything dramatic to gain interest and engagement. Typical tv bs
We raised our kids with no cable TV. I felt guilty when we used videos to buy us time. Now my son has a new baby and they have plans to protect her from a phone addiction. This generation has a huge challenge.
@@shirleyrowe4078 I am a senior and I am experimenting with minimalism and I am getting rid of lots of things, just keeping what I use and love. What a wonderful difference this has made in lowering my stress load and my work load. I am really loving it.

We have 2 electronic free days a week. I guess 2 days isn’t much but it’s better than nothing and it’s now just part of our routine...and our daughter is 15yrs old. She obviously can use her computer for school 24/7
That was so true about one a month the couple have a date night . Because it’s bring them together and revisiting , recharge their quality of life and stay connected with one other.
I enjoyed this video very much. All the way through I took notes to adapt these rules for a single mom with 2 grown and married children. I will send you my results when I hold my challenge on the week of July 30th 2023.
I don’t even think we can function without our phones. I can’t even click in for work or enter client information without it. So it would be so much more difficult now to do a challenge like this.
@own please, we need to see more old Oprah shows, i am from România and i can't see all of your shows it's not available în my country. Please do something Oprah i want to see all the shows Thank you❤
Working at home isa full time job and should not be a threat to a marriage. As long as they work as a team and show appreciation and respect for each other in their role, I believe that they will have a strong foundation to continue their relationship in love.
I don’t understand why Peter Walsh is “not” on A&E Hoarders, or TLC’s Hoarding: Buried Alive. He should’ve been part of these shows, instead of being on Oprah, Rachael Ray, The Living Room, et. al. Besides, it seems a little eerie having him as “Supernanny”.
@@annegraham2015 If he doesn’t want it, then that’s his loss. If he rejected it, then I can’t believe that he was, and possibly would be stupid enough to make that mistake.
Perhaps those shows couldn't offer him enough money or control. Or his schedule didn't fit with their schedule. You don't know the facts behind his decisions.
@@TheLiberty1999 Peter was always a control freak by nature. I think he was always that way, because he was incapable of handling adversity, stress, obstacles, envy, grief, disappointment, tragedy, defeat or inconvenience. Plus he couldn’t stand to fail, get frustrated, or antagonized in front of his fans, friends, family and associates, and was prone to high blood pressure, ulcers, migraines, claustrophobia, and other health issues. Whenever something didn’t go his way, or he wasn’t feeling well it was always his way of getting around it. Now I am beginning to realize that he has an aversion to these (hoarding) shows. If he was very sincere about his aversion, then he shouldn’t be on television or in the media anymore, and should not have agreed to be part of that Clean Sweep show (and similar shows) in the first place, because that’s where it’s going to get him eventually, plus he should be automatically and permanently disqualified from having his own show and making further media and television appearances as a professional organizer, or behavioural psychologist, at least until he retires or pursues a career in something else. I don’t think he’s really in the business, because he likes decluttering, and helping people create a better vision for a healthy organized space at all, nor his interested in solving problems for families and married couples. He only gets involved in these types of projects for the sake of money, fame and power, for entertainment purposes.
We’re doing great! I’m Drake the not so little 5 year old haha. My parents have a great marriage, my brother Blake is married and expecting his first child, and after playing some college football I’m coaching at my Alma mater and working full time
@@kathygann7632 Yes-I watched all four parts. “Creepy” doesn’t even begin to describe. Every time Michelle opens her mouth I feel like women take another step back. Luckily that one girl was able to learn to think for herself and marry someone supportive and escape. The others, I’m sure, won’t be so lucky
But why was their house in that state if the wife just went to the gym every day & not much else until the working husband brought take out dinner home?? I think it’s MORE than this….do AT LEAST your part and stop being lazy 😳
She was never lazy, she actually owned that gym and it was all for the show. I’m Drake, I was the little 5 year old haha. Things have been going great! God bless

Peter Walsh, we need shows like this today!!!
Peter Walsh was the start of minimalism. His book it’s all too much is awesome. He is phenomenal.
We need more old Oprah show episodes loaded.. please Oprah!
When she said that “the people that live inside these walls should be treated the best” is my light bulb moment.
The little boy is the cutest. I'm glad his family will be more connected with him.

Living for these full episode uploads.
But the sound is low somehow
This isn't revolutionary. Just common sense. Love Peter Walsh.
It's nice to see a nice family where everyone actually likes each other to start with.
Mediterranean and Middle Eastern families live around the kitchen table and keeps the focus on the family. We have always known and lived this.
So do people in the deep south (In the US)
Lord have mercy. Imagine this show now, 10 years later 🤦♀️. Our culture is 10 times worse
You've got that right
So true! Now there is this whole minimalist movement - opposite ends of the spectrum!

Here in 2024 they’re doing absolutely great!
This was life changing !
Their garage WAS rising up to meet them.
Lol little did they know that a couple of years later, the devices would get smaller but way more distracting.
Share this with atleast 3 people!
Where are they now?
The parents act they don’t have any control over eating meals together
Actually ate meals every night when I was a kid. Just for the show, making it drama filled to grab views. But Peter Walsh is a great guy

I still love you ❤ I'm jw..
Oprah why Did you have to say "& Son from a previous marriage"? ....
so we know that guy isn’t his dad.
to acknowledge the boy's father, who might still be in his life?
Go the Aussie!!
I love Oprah so much.....but no cell phone, computer, etc...would of been torture.
people had no problem growing up without those things at all
Dad looks like Josh Duggar
Ouch. I’d hate to look like him. Have you seen the documentary about the Duggar family? Not a nice man.
