Both items look awesome but they outdid themselves on the sonic figure! The price is pretty great as well. F4F stuff most of the time is super expensive...

Haha thanks for noticing that 😅! Tried to spruce the footage up as much as I can cause I thought it would bore people to tears! I agree, these pvc style figures…more affordable, sort of like the Ryo Hazuki statue SEGA shop did, are still looking fantastic despite the big price difference!Their expensive resin ones, in person, are incredible, but these are starting to get really close :) thanks for watching as always!

For sure dude! I was hesistant when it released as I already have so many sonic figures haha, but the Adventure pose and logo sold it for me, and chuffed with it for sure now!

I just recently picked up one of the collector’s edition of this figure for myself, and i have experienced the exact same issues you had with the figure. I had to first find the very specific battery type, (AA rechargeable li-on batteries) and i charged it until the light went green. As it was still plugged in, it turned on perfectly fine, and both modes worked, but as soon as i unplugged it the lights turned off and wouldn’t turn back on unless i plugged it back in. I wonder if it’s supposed to be like that or if its some weird malfunction both of ours had🤔
I really don’t know! It’s strange for them to use rechargeable batteries that don’t actually hold charge 🤔, and interesting that you found some replacements that do exactly the same. I might send them a message as just the concept of a rechargable battery doesn’t make sense in action here haha
Mine arrived yesterday evening and I've just gotten around to my own unboxing. Doesn't come with a battery (or mine didn't) and even when plugged in, it wont light up.Not got a battery for it yet. Whether it needs a battery in it to complete the circuit I don't know...unless mine is faulty and wont turn on either way...
Interesting…where do you live? I wonder if it’s a UK product and you live outside the country…they’re strict on lithium batteries I think so that could be why.
@@SkillJim Yeah I'm UK based. I've emailed F4F to see if it needs the battery to function even with the cable. Would be a shame to return it after waiting so long to get it.
@@jimmanison Did you buy it from First4Figures or SEGA Shop UK? Maybe cause they’re USA based they don’t include the batteries when shipping

@@jimmanison No idea then! Mine came with the battery as you saw in the unboxing, but doesn’t light up without the cable 🤷♂️
