i hat blind speedruns there the dumbest moment in speedrun history, because i'm sure a lot of people that do it mite think they can get away with it, and they mite think everyone is stupid not to see that it was fake.

seeing a mod call a streamer "OUR QUEEN" shows why nobody noticed it instantly
This was my first big red flag. She's effectively curated a cult. Not one person around her will question her, they just act like an echo chamber parroting her own thoughts back at her which she takes as affirmation.
I'd wager actual money that she actually does stuff like this all the time as well. Nobody in her cult is free thinking enough to question her, so she'd get away with it all the time. She only fucked up by gaining as much attention as she did, which is usually what happens.
I would actually unmod and probably ban someone who unironically did that in my discord

When she "has paper over the screen" she has another monitor to the side of the screen uncovered and not recorded. This is verified when she takes the apparent blindfold off and looks to the side reading a screen then realises what she does and slowly looks back to the screen infront of her.

That last clip... You'd think she'd be smart enough not to tilt her head up by a giant margin to at least make it *seem* like there isn't a second monitor on top of her main one.
Its even better in the end, after she kills the boss she removes the blindfold looks to the side and rotates the camera perfectly to the front of the character before removing the cover on the screen. The run was over in her head so she forgot that she was still not suposed to be seeing since the screen was still covered. There are so many tells
I don't doubt the 2nd monitor theory. How else would you have lighting from the game still flashing on her and the camera picking it up. I don't know if she was tilting her head to look at a higher monitor. To me she was tilting her head to look out the bottom of the mask cause that mask was sitting higher than they are suppose to so she could see out the cracks at the bottom. So she tilts her head up to look out the cracks better.

its like a food chain in a way, streamer wants clout so they fake a blindfolded speedrun for views, more popular streamer reacts for views of their own, and then speedrunners that know about blindfolded speedruns call you out and get millions of views on their own, and then the drama dies out till the next time someone tries it, so in reality only the streamer who faked it ends with nothing, its a really stupid idea and people need to stop thinking that their poorly done faked speedruns that will ultimately end in their downfall are a good idea, because if theres one community that are better detectives than 4Chan in the early 2010's, its the speedrunning community.
I don’t think they get nothing. She has made bank off this for sure through subs, donations, and publicity. Even with the controversy still going she has people still defending her and they are most definitely still paying her money.
Hence why they’re so invested in her defense. It’s defending their monetary investment and the Parasocial relationship. Especially true of female streamers and their male audience members for obvious and sad reasons

I'm not familiar with this game, but it must be pre-recorded. The camera was moving around, which I assume is controlled by the mouse, yet she doesn't move the mouse. She only clicks the mouse button. Either that or someone sitting behind her is playing the game via a gamepad.

Yeah as kids we quickly realized that the only reasonable way to play split screen is to just openly allow screen looking. In later years if we wanted to play e.g. Halo teams without it we had to have two consoles and tvs

Karl even missed one of the most damnimg pieces of evidence. In Bunzia's video, he points out a spot where she dies during one of the runs and reacts to the death before any non-visual cue happens.
In my opinion the most damning piece of evidence is at the start of Karl's video. She runs into a crystal formation then turns and runs perfectly around it. If you cant see, you have no way of knowing you have run into something, much less how much you need to move to get around it. Even if you correctly guess you are running into something, you have no way of knowing if it is a small crystal formation or a large wall.
He might be saving that juicy morsel for the main video!

Prediction. The 'oldest trick in the book' is pretending to play over pre-recorded gameplay.
There are plenty of places where she could have placed a screen that are not visible and my guess is you can see the emitted light from the hidden screen in her webcam.

Their demo involved asking kid to give the color of an object held in front of them. they were all using this specific blindfold and it was a big part in the debunking. UA-camr showed on camera how you can see through the blindfold if you tilt your head)

I bet she would do worse in that run than her supposed blindfolded run because she is used to doing it without lock on. Seeing that be a harder adaptation for her than WEARING A BLINDFOLD would be interesting.

The Boss has different Defense Pool per body part, with lock on she would literally be worse than not using it . that's jus a fact with any good player ever (That is if you never remove lock on to replace yourself)

it could work in some scenarios, can't say for this boss as I haven't done it enough but she was using very high dpi, or at least supposedly because in her 2nd video her hand barely moves at all, so just using wrist movements you can adjust, now the accuracy with that level of dpi..... thats fishy, maybe possible, but fishy

Especially after her second attempt at fooling everyone, a lot of friends and extremely skilled speedrunners have been banned from her servers and harrassed by her fans. Love all the content Mr.Jobst. Been an avid viewer on and off for a while and I'm a big consumer of speedrunning content (I've never tried it myself, as much as I'd love to). You always have well thought out ideas and great presence in your videos. Although I'd never assume in a million years that you'd ever be caught in some sort of controversy or drama, I still hope that day never comes. Too many content creators that I really enjoyed watching have come out with some really nasty allegations against them that have turned out to be true. It's an awful feeling to think about how long I've supported those creators. Thank you for being an internet personality that I can enjoy watching guilt free. Nowadays I tune into new channels with some apprehensiveness because it feels like anybody could be a creep or a wierdo behind the scenes. In a nutshell, thank you for having the energy of a regular guy with similar interests that I feel I could have an honest and fun conversation with given the chance. Keep up the fantastic work (like you need my approval for that lmao).
It's extraordinarily obvious that 99% of people have never seen a blindfolded speedrun attempts of anything. Go watch some. They are constantly full of hilarious goof ups and ridiculous moments and camera all over the place. Because they are literally blind. Losing their player location all the time and have to take time doing goofy reliable strategies like rubbing up against walls back and forth, stopping and thinking for a long pause to find and work out from memory their exact location, then execute memorised movements from there to save their run, if they fail they have to restart because they have no idea where they are. Her runs show none of this, not even a little.
why would I? It's impressive but not my cup of tea. However, as a guitar player, I can tell when someone fakes playing. I suppose it's the same.
edit: playing music instrument blindfolded is easy because ear is used more. so that's one more difference.

You can see the runners making mistakes and have to adapt accordingly on the fly.

It’s not that weird to time people out if they’re being annoying and spamming the same thing over and over in chat. Lots of streamers do that, it just so happens that in this case the person was trying to dodge accountability.

Not only that, but the video of her on camera doing the inputs is also part of the prerecording. She just tried to sync with the last part of raising her arms.
Bold of you to assume we'll actually get to see any inputs.
It is also worth mentioning that during the 2nd run she was looking up and while the camera showed a screen blocked, the camera of her set up did not show the place she was facing. It is entirely possible that if the run wasn't prerecorded she could have just set up a monitor above the one that is on camera and looked at that.

@@elyetimx6045 Unlikely. The sync is literally frame perfect with no inconsistences between that and the main camera. The only inconsistency is just those key presses as Kirito mentioned. No human is able to replicate such free-form movement so consistently multiple times that they get a frame perfect sync between different videos. Especially when one of them is live.

I dont play this game, and i think readjusting the camera during the boss fight you've beat over 4600+ times is okay, you might have that reflex built.
But blindfolded doing it consistently EVERY SINGLE TIME is kinda sus, yeah...
@@SurrealFeelz the problem isnt that she CAN readjust the camera to center on the dragon. the problem is that if you are blindfolded there is no reasom to do such small camera adjustments. the only reason you would want to do that is if you want to see the dragon in the center of your screen.
