This is a full match taken from the 1st MAURI CHAMPIONSHIP hosted by That1GuyD. I'm playing Onryo for team Random Queue, against team OniFans. I also currently hold the world record for most condemns on Onryo. In this game, we get all 4 survivors condemned. Everyone's reactions are priceless! I solo q'd into this guys onyro and from that point on I did not think she was a weak killer.

Just checking, but when she's running backwards, that's to avoid triggering chase to allow the tape to continue stacking up condemned while still keeping pressure?

Everyone is shocked about this playstyle but this was the style INTENDED for her. Her power is not teleportation used for hit and run tactics. Its condemning them and taking them out of the game. But people played her once, didnt understand how to properly play her using her strengths, and wrote her off as weak. Meanwhile onryo mains who DID take the time to learn her realized that if they played well with a decent setup she can kill a whole team in under 5 min.
I played against OnePumpWillie on stream a few weeks back and it's IMMEDIATELY noticeable how smart and resourceful he is in the way he plays. It was on this same map and he ended up getting a 4k, 3 of which were from corruption. Dude is REALLY good 🔥🔥 It was a fun game! Especially for a small time streamer like myself!

Played a game of Onryo a while back, used the add ons where they all start with tapes, and the tvs all start further from every survivor, ended up getting 3 kills with her power, they had NO gens done. All the kills were less than 5 min, honestly the most fun I've had with her in a bit.

Didnt survivors just play this really stupid? I feel like if people get to the point of being insta killed against onryo its on them.

I once played against an onryo with the third seal on the coldwind farm and she had the add on that gives all surv the thing at the beginning. I died on first hook, she played very well with an off meta build. Need more killers like her!

YOOO THIS WAS INSANE, that's the strategy to play Sadako through her streanghts and you've just done that in a comp match. This video is a very good representation that with her you don't have to chase much but just when it's necessary or if your target is in a weak spot; Also condemning many survivor as possible will help you later.
For those wondering why he was moonwalking across the map in chase, it's because condemn stacks from holding a tape pause in chase similar to the timer for the reverse bear traps for pig. This guys is INSANE with Sadako. I hope I can one day be half as good with my Dredge.

Honestly I always thought that this was how people would play, forcing condemned to make it strong and whatnot, but I've never seen anyone doing it and it's always left me shocked at that. But I can say you sir, have mastered it even beyond what I thought possible. Bringing a tear to my eye man, good work.
