Something went wrong with the human species so long ago, we've forgotten our connection with other animals. Thank goodness for you, lady, you never forgot. Here's to all the people who know.
I just read about a dog that was returned after two days because she was too much work. That's how you break a dog's or cat's heart. This is how you mend it.
Thank you for showing that love. I rescued a dog six years ago who had been tied up in a garden for five years. She had never had a walk, didn’t know what stairs were, had been shown no love and was desperate for love. Anyway, she’s been with me for six years now, has three walks a day, gets caressed for at least an hour a day, (her insistence by the way,) and follows me about all the time I am in the house. She is a very happy doggie now. Bless her.
Yes thank you. Such a teaching to see an animal recover and blossom. I rescued a very scared timid young dog about two years ago, and he's blossoming and so happy now after lots of love, care, socialization, play times, reassurance and love.
That's so good for her. I'll never understand why people get dogs if they don't really want one, why and how could someone tie her up her whole life? It's beyond me!!, people aren't forced to have a dog and if you acquire one and don't want it please don't be cruel, give them a chance at a shelter. Unless they take pleasure in being cruel,? There is nothing as rewarding as homing a rescue dog. They pay you back tenfold and it is as if they have an extra dimension of understanding. We brought home an old dying sheltie that had been so neglected his teeth were green and had to be removed. The vet said he had been in pain for years. And his matted coat, when removed, was heavier than he was. The rescue where we were volunteers, would not take any money for him they were so convinced he only had about ten days to live. Well, we got that old dog better and happy, and he lived for us for almost four years. Still the best dog I have ever had, and I still miss my Jack every day. Please rescue - we can only heal the world one dog at a time. And rescueing an older dog is something special.
I lost my Abby this year and picked up volunteering at animal shelter. I don’t want one at home for now, but I do want to make as many of those at the shelter feel they are loved. Neglect for sure, but I don't know about abuse. Never know... the old owner might have had the best of intentions and just got in over there head...didn't have the money/time to look after the poor beast, or got sick or had other trauma in their life.
@@paulcarey1708 I've seen starving dogs, this dog was clearly abused. Lack of eye contact, its habit of going prone, and many other factors show this dog was clearly abused not just underfed or ignored.
@@drawntojapan3841 Exactly. Her behavior was *not* that of a dog who had been treated with love. Now, my shih-tzu mix drops her back legs and tail if anyone reaches down to pet her - even me. I got her at 8 weeks old and thus know she has *NEVER* been struck or abused - she's just a bit skittish. But she acts normal and confident in every other way. Gorgeous Clementine, though, showed several signs of abuse. Lack of eye contact, shaking, silently staring at the wall, hesitant to come when called, etc. Her being underweight, while an issue that needed fixed, was both the least of her problems and the easiest to fix.
The best thing about this is the look on her face. In the beginning so heartbreakingly sad almost like she'd given up on life. But slowly with great courage on her part, unconditional love & kindness on the part of all her " new family" members a traumatized, lonely and despairing animal has changed into a happy, healthy, appreciated & much loved family pet It's a wonderful story 😍😍😍
Totally agree...that expression at the beginning was so full of dread of what new hell was about to happen. They did an amazing job of helping her feel safe and loved.
Clementine is amazing, beautiful and brave; among whom I call the strong vulnerable ones, having obviously been made to put up with sick nuts before; which should NEVER, EVER happen. Oh, but look at the angels this angel is among now. She is home. Blessings to you all 💞
It’s sad that people treat their dogs as if they’re nothing. If they get to know their pet they will start to warm up to them and next thing you know they’re a part of your family
I would say that this behaviour is an indication of previous abuse. abused dogs often do this thing where they stare at nothing and are very still, as if they're trying to disappear, because nobody is going to hurt them if they are unnoticed. abused humans exhibit a trauma coping technique called dissociation that looks similar.
@@Ass_of_Amalek That's not what it's doing at all, abused dogs avoid eye contact because they've learnt through pavlovian conditioning that eye contact with pack members equals pain to follow shortly after.
@@Marconi121 The dog is looking away and turning its head or body away to show that its scared. Its how dogs communicate with eachother and humans, also called calminsignals.

He turned out to be my bestfriend for SIX YEARS, went to work with me, ate, slept in my bed, we were apart for only 2 days in 6 years until he passes at 14 years old. I miss him every day!
What a sweet story! The journey some dogs are forced to go on is heartbreaking but, in the end, it's the person by their side when they pass who's made the biggest impact. I'm sure Cody knew how loved he was, and that's all that matters.
@@user-ci1kz1cc6t Sorry, but that's not true. Dogs' life spans vary depending on breed. The average life span for a GSD is 9-13 years. So it sounds like Cody lived a pretty long and happy life!

@Kalda Forn _What_ is it about adopting a dog that kills the genetic line of the woman and/or her child? What's a "selfish waste" when she has an _actual child_ and a rescue dog? Seems win/win.
She had bags under her eyes poor thing. So happy she is good now.
That poor critter was starved and had surrendered, believing that she was not long for the world. Wondrous what patience and food and love does for her. Good on you folks! 👍😁

You don't need to be an animal expert to know that a dog is sad, scared, etc. You just need to look into their eyes...they say it all. Blessings to her rescuers who were very patient and understanding. Who knows what happened to this sweet dog in the past. So grateful there are people like her rescuers that saved her life, even though they have 2 other dogs. we need many more animal adopters, fosterers, and rescuers such as these for many more happy endings.
THANK U SOO SOO MUCH ❤🙏🏼🐶❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The love and patience this family showed her is beautiful. She found her family!!
That's really the key to a dog like this. Love, patience, and showing he consistent care.
A lot of people that adopt dogs would have sent him right back to the shelter
Yessss. And the family gets 2.5 + million views on UA-cam in just over a Month. Very convenient, isn't it?
Poor baby, looks like she was kept outside most of her life. Hesitant to go in. Thank you for adopting this sweet girl. She deserves love❤️
Thats what I was thinking, an outdoor dog, chained with No animal friends. She had No idea what to do, just sat staring and shaking, heart breaking to watch., In the end she overcame all her fears , bless them all!
Thank you
Love she GOT... by the Boatload I see :)
She’s a beauty. Thank you for being so kind and patient with her.
How wonderful of you to adopt lovely Clementine! Not everyone would have the patience you two have; bless you both!
Loved makes all the difference!
AMEN - Thanks so much for saving, helping and supporting this Loving Precious Fur Baby
The lady that adopted her is amazing. She’s patient, sweet, giving and loving to an animal who very much needed and deserved all of that. God bless Clementine , her mom and her family! 🙏❤️❤️❤️

Clementine, omg such a precious name. and it fits her 100%. she is too beautiful for words. so glad that someone knew how special she was. poor girl. i can only imagine what humans did to her...jeez!

Clementine...
It actually gets a bi morbid, so...
At the beginning, eyes full of sadness 😔 and then .... a completely different girl 😃🥰🤗
That poor baby was trying to make herself invisible. I've fostered a number of them who are like that and it is heartbreaking. Kudos to the family for their dedication and patience, just amazing.
Breaks my heart that she was treated so bad she didn't want to make eye contact 😭 You could just see the sadness & fear in her eyes in the beginning. Ty for saving this sweet girl!
Probably heart broken from losing her forever home, having everything be new and unfamiliar can be a very traumatic experience, to say nothing of going from a Home to a shelter. :(
You guys are the. Best. Thanks from someone who doesn’t have a proper environment to do this.
Clementine glad you found a wonderful family
Hi Elizabeth
This woman's voice is so sweet, kind, and soothing! Her husband's is very pleasant, too. Even if Clementine couldn't understand what they were saying (at first), she surely felt their love and good will. ❤️❤️
"I'm just sittin" 🤣
i thought the same thing. you can tell a lot from the sound/tone of a voice
chelsea is a very sweet person to be around, yes you are correct :)
Aawww 😢, Those Sad Eyes,So Happy She's in a Beautiful Home 🥰💝
I'm crying this so beautiful. Thank you both for your kindness, patience, and love. Clementine is beautiful and amazing. Watching her come back to life was wonderful. The way she melted into your hand as you petted her face. God bless you both. You not only saved her life you saved her spirit.
I only stopped crying when I heard her name is "Clementine". Definitively a name for true love. Thank you for saving her.
I laughed at that part :) that's a very suitable name for her 🌟
The song should probably make you more sad though. See what I mean...
To be fair, Roiland and Harmon did a great job dealing with that concept with that Rick and Morty episode
I just don’t understand people that abuse helpless animals, it’s a shame she was mistreated in a way to make her act like that. Glad this story has a happy ending for her
This world I don’t understand…
And you user ID is “Mommy Dearest” - ???
Too many f**king laws that gravitate toward maggot scum humans and not caring about these beautiful creature. If that scum was caught nothing would happen. Too many laws. Ill say it, could care less, I have a Glock. If I witnessed abuse by these back wood maggots that would be it. I'd gladly go to jail to rid the planet of the scum that abuses animals. All animals.
This is about Love giving animals love is saving them. She is much better now. She was mistreated to make her like that. I hate animal abusers. They super suck and its like child abuse they deserve a place in hell.
@In the process it’s because people don’t make dog burgers in the U.S💀💀💀
Yahoo for Clementine You are home with a loving family ❤️🐕😊
Who knows what this poor dog went through before it was rescued. I don't even want to imagine what she suffered but I'm grateful she now has a loving home.
Imagine how happy her heart is right now. In a million years she never could have imagined her life the way it is now.💕
Hearts don't get happy......brains do.
You don’t need to act smart, it’s a way of being happy. Don’t be a smart Alec and get a life.
“Dixon” is saying that that made them happy, and that the dog was happy.
@@dazzledxblossom452It's always people with no life telling others they need to get one 🙄😒 shut the hell up you muppet.
Impacting a pet like Clementine is possibly the most rewarding and heart felt commitment of unconditional love frim both human and pet I've ever witnessed. I wish i could wave a magic wand and no animal woykd ever be hurt again.
Amen!

I’ve had my latest rescue 16 months, he is still very shutdown, 3 years in a terrible shelter in Spain, I’m better not knowing what he endured. I’m taking it at his pace and like this lady said, I’ll love him forever.
Thankful for people like this lady. ❤️❤️
Thank you ❤️🐾🐾 Love conquerors all!
Aaaaw!!!! 😍😍😍😍 You are one of these "foreigners" who adopt our dogs because the majority of people here prefer to buy a concrete brand? (Yes, it is a brand for them. Like having a Chanel and an Akita Inu 🙄😤🥺🤮)
*THANK YOUUUUUU* 💜💜💜💜💜
If the situation was awful before covid, you can imagine how it is now. 🥺😓
My best wishes from a top country in number of stray dogs. 😣
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU (I am awling) 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
Thank you ♥️♥️♥️🐶
Inside every scared, mistreated dog is a happy, playful & loving one wishing to be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🐶
Thank you for giving Clementine a second chance and a forever home!
Thank God this beautiful dog was given a second chance at life. She truly needed it.
Glad Clementine has a forever home & is part of the pack of dogs! 😁
Thank you for being so patient with her! God bless you!
Tragic situation for so many.
This girl got lucky.
Thank you, dear humans🙏🏼
It's truly sad to see such loving, forgiving animals showing such obvious signs of abuse. More people need to have this level of commitment and passion. Great video to start my day :)
@@drawntojapan3841
Exactly.
But slowly with great courage on her part, unconditional love & kindness on the part of all her " new family" members a traumatized, lonely and despairing animal has changed into a happy, healthy, appreciated & much loved family pet
It's a wonderful story 😍😍😍
Totally agree...that expression at the beginning was so full of dread of what new hell was about to happen. They did an amazing job of helping her feel safe and loved.
I was thinking, she looked like someone who had been told they are going to euthanized by someone who she only ever tried to make happy.
Clementine is amazing, beautiful and brave; among whom I call the strong vulnerable ones, having obviously been made to put up with sick nuts before; which should NEVER, EVER happen. Oh, but look at the angels this angel is among now. She is home. Blessings to you all 💞
She’s beautiful
The people who mistreated her they are unworthy.
Poor baby. She's a cute dog.
Bless these people for saving her life and letting her learn to dog!
Unbelievable the look in her eyes from
Start to finish. From SO sad to so happy! ❤️
Omg poor girl so worried and scared. I love the happy ending 💗 What a beautiful & happy girl she is now.
Clementine learned to survive in her previous environment. Fingers crossed she learns to thrive in her new environment. Thanks for helping her.
It’s sad that people treat their dogs as if they’re nothing.
If they get to know their pet they will start to warm up to them and next thing you know they’re a part of your family
@@saintshrooms9424 those are the type of people that would treat their own biological offspring like that.
This channel has always been so wholesome omg 😭❤
Omg ty for the likes :0
Beautiful!! Thank you so much for your patience and kindness!❤ Clementine, you are home and you are safe. Forever.
All this little lady needed was a home and a family to love her ..
Aw that sad for the dog he need love
Poor baby she completely shut down not to get too excited...her expression changes so much.
Stop humanising an animal......it's pathetic.
@@xdaydreamerx what a pointless comment when I've already explained why she's scared, thanks for waisting my time. 🤣🤣
This shows how complex animal's emotions are and that they deserve to be treated with love and respect! These ppl are awesome to take their time to care for this almost euthanized pooch! I did the same thing with a retired police K9 shepherd, named CODY. He turned out to be my bestfriend for SIX YEARS, went to work with me, ate, slept in my bed, we were apart for only 2 days in 6 years until he passes at 14 years old. I miss him every day!
❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
That's so sad. Today dogs usually live longer than 14 yrs. God Bless for giving him a good life.
🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🐶
Thank you God for kind hearted people like this
That poor little soul looked like she had been crying for months when you rescued her. God bless you.
You are an angel!
Thank You Thank You, for taking this beautiful girl into your home and giving her the love she so richly deserves.
Looking the face in the beginning and how it change at the end is magnificent!!!
Her eyes can convey the sadness so well in the beginning, then she just had a happy face. Love and patience can heal all wounds! I’m so happy she was rescued. Blessings all around!
Not All Wounds But it Does

The pain in her eyes is so heartbreaking. What an amazing transformation.
I can’t imagine the trauma she went through to get to this point. Thank you for saving her. She will reward you 100x.
The people that mistreated her before should burn in hell
This breaks my heart to imagine what she went through before being adopted by these angels. Seems like poor baby was beaten & traumatized big time ugh it makes me so angry how people treat animals. We need more compassion for animals.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful story & to who adopted her into their family and took the time and patience to allow her to heal yal are amazing. May God bless you all abundantly ❤
Nothing will change untill we change. Go and hit that bastard. Do physically something about it. Take away his/her dog. Or do something ! Otherwise, shut up !
@@tjp_real Have you done something?
@@mariannebroadhead7318 i have not encountered an abuser yet. But I would defenitely at least call the police. Or try to stop that scum.
Anybody who can mistreat and abuse a dog or any animal at all should be culled.
Thank you for loving and caring for this deserving dog.
She was so skinny. Glad you kept her warm in that cute sweater.

Hello
How does someone give a thumbs down. Well done on bringing her back from the nightmare she was in.
I'm convinced it has to be bots, no human could dislike this
I think some people can't get past the fact someone left the dog in that state in the first place.
And some people are just pathetic trolls; no matter what the topic they’ll vote it down for kicks
Now downvotes are gone lol
I think it might be because she didn't tell us anything about the dog's background.
So many humans just don’t deserve dogs especially when you see dogs so fearful and afraid 😢 thankfully they gave her, time love and patience letting her know she is safe and loved now ❤❤
