Fantastic tutorial! I was looking for a pattern that is reversible and uses slip stitches to make a throw using variegated yarn along with a solid color (to help the variegated yarn “pop” instead of looking like Walt Disney got sick. I’ll change yarn after every two rows, I think. I can’t wait to begin! I just discovered your channel today, and I’m delighted to meet you! You explain and demonstrate incredibly well and exude calmness, patience, and kindness. - thank you!

Thank you so much, Karen! But please remember to swatch before starting your wonderful throw! If you have any doubts, please take a look at this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/rv21nHjdq-E/v-deo.html

@@sowoolly Caroline, I am so excited!! Over and over again, I have seen and heard, “swatch first.” I had NO idea there was a formula to calculate the number of stitches needed and yarn weight! I’m laughing at the “method” I invented to determine how many stitches to cast on and how much yarn to purchase! Suffice it to say my projects always end up… generous (hah!) in size, and I always, always purchase too much yarn! This all changes today, and I have you to thank for it! I have eagerly signed up to your website and look forward to creating projects other than throws and scarves! I feel as though not only has a whole new door been opened, but also a bunch of windows! Thank you again!

I'm looking for a 2 colour jute stitch tutorial, and I can't find one.
I'd like a stitch where the main colour is plain, and the horizontal lines from the slipped stitch going across is ombre yarn, I think that's the same as what you mean.
Does anyone know if that's possible, do you know of a tutorial that shows how to do that?
I've seen it in a photo somewhere, but I can't find the pattern or stitch tutorial.
