and you actually have better control,i observed that when i do a normal aerial,i move extremely fast forward,but slower backwards,so when you spin,you are in a constant car position,like a drill

Personally air roll helps aerial across map as it's slightly more controlled. I also win every kickoff with air roll enabled(I go top ball on kickk off)

The air roll is really helpful. If you start air rolling then when you do the boosted jump the car won’t spin back in forth. With air rolling you can also wave dash

Sadly the wave dashes are win/lose in sideswipe

The point in air-roll is to make your self completely unreadable. Its not just a mechanic for looks.

Idk if this mechanic has already been used but if you point up on the roof left or right and spam jump, you can pretty much wave dash

Another mechanic that really helped me I like to call ‘The Switcharoo’ basically all you need to do is a basic air dribble from wherever you want fake a purple shot or flip reset then go down to the dead zone where your car will automatically switch to land your wheels on the ground then jump and the ball should be on top of your car. This fakes the opponent because the think you are going for a purple shot or a flip reset and you can air dribble it in their net.

WOW I am a champ player but I never knew that you can fall faster by pointing down. I would always just flip to the ground. But sometimes when I red aerial shot the ball and dont have much boost I would just be stuck in air and watch opponent to score tysm for this video

I do free-styling in rl sideswipe and to land on your back just fly in the air make it that your back is facing the ground and then press jump and hold it and you can turtle

airrolling is used for people who want soft touches on the ball. if u play long enough u will noice that without it ur hits air harder/more powerful. air rolling is for dribbling and control

Es mucho mas facil hacer el supersalto si solamente pones el "boton bloqueado" cruzado con el boton del nitro. Entonces, en medio de ambos quedara un espacio que si lo presionas hace el supersalto mucho mas rapido

A legit use for air roll is that if you want a flip reset and your car isn’t on the right side for one is you can air roll for about a half second and be on the right side to flip reset

But air dribbling is easier in sideswipe than normal
