I loved it - even met the singer when I was living at the time in London they looked like the next big thing I don’t understand why they didn’t take off with a manager like Watkins
They should have been more successful, but they did at least have a Top 20 hit, a TOTP appearance and another top 30 hit after that. Something to look back on with affection.
I LURVED this song back in the day. A gay kid in Canada whose knowledge of UK pop was via Smash Hits and Top of the Pop magazine imports - before the internet! - sigh; memories.
I still can’t work out why this band wasn’t massive, they brought out some real catchy pop tunes which fitted perfectly into that mid 90’s time, they had a very experienced manager who who knew what he was doing but for some reason it just didn’t happen, it was a real shame
Because they were openly gay. Even in the progressive 90s that meant they couldn't be promoted where children could see (it was against the law under Section 28).
You're right - total bunch of arse, BUT i got this on vinyl 12 , which has a remix by Red Jerry - i think - one of the finest house tunes ever. You need to find it!
hmmmmmm, whats your perspective of honesty......you might think its total shit....you can have that opinion. I one the other hand still LOVE this song.
I’ve always loved this song, they actually recorded a whole album (some really great tracks which I was lucky enough to hear,
The album version of ‘I want the world’ was so much better than the single version.
The original version of ‘Now I’ve found you’ was also on their unreleased album.
I would love to hear the album, can you share it?
@@sinwithsebastian I only have it on cassette.
@@dickychip I would love to have it is there anyway you can record it into the computer and make it digital?
Love love loved this!! Still do ❤️
Legendary backing vocalist Helen Terry on back ups!
These guys were great. Like a cross between East 17, Erasure & The Pet Shop Boys. I believe 2wo Third3 had the same manager as East 17?
Yes Tom Watkins was the manager He also managed the Pet Shop Boys for some time and of course East 17

Cos they were bleedin’ awful?
Agreed - very underrated group of the 90's
I adore this. Why wasn’t it number one ? Spread the word !
2wo Third3 were awesome. Was gutted that doppelganger wasn't officially released but Lee has made it available on sound cloud and its awesome.

What about Bronski Beat and Comunards- both openly gay ?
@@Daro41Bthat was before section 28
The intro bit is quite brilliant
After a long absence from the music scene Lee has a new single called "now i found you" under the name 4th child. you can see the video on youtube!!
Two thirds did an earlier version of ‘now I’ve found you’ I would love to hear it if anyone has it.
Beautiful song. Lists of eurodance 1994.
Lee looking gooood. Love you.
I saw them live at Gay Pride just after they won a best band competition. This song is not unlike Depeche Mode.
HEAVENLY xxxxx
New download only single, Lovers And Best Friends, out in November. New single and album 1 Night Stand out in January.
it's toe tappingly camp...and let's be honest, after a few beers who hasn't
This one sounds just like Erasure and that is never a bad thing
Whatever happened to these guys...where are they now? Anyone remember their names...I think the singer was Lee...whats his last name. I loved them!
Недооценный коллектив
They've used style of "The Grid" and "Erasure".
@PeteUtonic to you maybe, I love this.
My New Stuff is now up on UA-cam, thanks for all the support :)
I would have killed and still would for the twothirds album that didn't get released....
