Thanks for watching! Most likely doing a review of Against the Storm next since I've been having a lot of fun with that recently. A review of Pirate Outlaws is also in the works.
Probably should have just wrote my initial comment here, but oh well 🤷🏼♂️ haha So just saying thanks again for continuing to review games in my favorite genre and keep up the great work! 😊
Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate the donation! I'm glad that you enjoy the review and it's always great to see other people that love roguelites as well
@@InsertReviews It's even better, in my opinion, to see those people spread the word about roguelikes/roguelites. There are good games that not many people know about that deserve more attention than some AAA titles.
I had actually never heard of this game, but I will definitely be checking it out now! Thank you for another awesome video. Always look forward to your reviews. 😊
Hope you enjoy it! It definitely felt like it was overlooked and I never saw anyone else talking about it. And thanks! Been hard to post a regularly schedule lately, but still love making them
I played this game last year when it was released for free on mobile for netflix subscribers. I think the control scheme might be designed around touch controls. Looks like there's more heroes now (there was maybe 8-10? and there was no goat healer back then). Overall, I thought it was an ok/good but not great roguelite. Definitely a lot of wasted potential (although again, it was in an earlier stage back then). Anyway, nice review. Just commenting for the algorithm.
Nice Video. Keep up the good work ^.^ Another Card game, another take on the core concept. I wonder where the card games are going from here on. First they were simple, now the have a flexible overworld and teamfights as well as some qualitiy of life improvements with the side deck. Who knows, maybe the next trend is going to be "reversed fights" where you have monster cards and stop the hero's party.
Thanks! I'm not sure honestly. There is always room for more highly polished games, but there has definitely been a lot of experimentation with teams, flexibility, how to deckbuilding works, etc. that it's harder (but certainly not impossible) to bring truly novel mechanics to the same.
Just moved on from this and thought it was great. Not up there with the greats like roguebook and vault of the void but different enough to be its own solid game. Check out fate hunters if you're looking for another deck builder or demon slayer raksasi for action roguelike. Gordian quest next for me, picked it up on the current fanatical bundle. Thanks for doing these friend.

Thanks! Honestly would make sense if it was designed around touch controls. And definitely agree with the rest.
