my god I haven't heard his radio show in, well, almost 30 years. Used to listen to it going to bed as a teenager. Thanks for posting these and giving me a blast from the past. If only TS were still with us today, imagine what he'd have to say!
28:00 I get where Tom was going... it wasn't that the standards departments were no longer... it was downsized, and their jobs were reassigned. There was sense of sarcasm in there. But I totally agree with where Tom was going; with the commercials (that's again dereg and I think a traffic department responsibility.) I'll watch TV in the 2020s and see the similar pattern and say to myself _isn't there a responsibility in traffic to balance out commercial time?_ Then I realize it's the 2020s and anything prior to 1985 is long gone...
(Great account name btw) I have a playlist on my channel with all the radio clips of TS (and 1 Tomorrow show clip). Still have another box of VHS to go through but that's all the TS audio I have for now. Might have some tapes "back home" though!
@@deputay Great! Thanks. Been after radio show audio and the CNBC show more than Late Late Show if that's what you're referring to. I believe Don Giller has all of his CBS shows, just has yet to transfer them.
@@SirMixALotRareMusic Yes, he and I are friends (online) and he has mentioned that. I too liked TS radio show and CNBC version, too. The CNBC one almost seemed public access it was SO laid back. Loved it!

Me too! And if you haven't, please check out my page - I made a playlist of all my TS radio clips. Thanks a lot
@@deputay Just subscribed my friend! Cheers!
- Thank you for uploading this. Tom Snyder's radio show is my favorite radio program of all time.
Mine too! Be sure to check my page for other TS radio clips, and I'll be adding more in 2019!
Thanks for sharing! Love hearing Radio Tom...

12:12 - 16:40 Man oh man were they onto something. Unfortunately things have only continued to get worse.
Look at the world today
You got any more Tom Snyder?
