very cute- I would sew these onto an article of clothing- like a cut-away sweatshirt and use thread to close them instead of rubber bands so it holds up. Can make cute headbands to match.
I love your honesty, when you said you didn't know what you were doing, you certainly did a great job and it's beautiful. I want one for a necklace so I will try this and I will definitely SHABIFY it. Love that word. Keep the ideas coming.
NO JOKE!!! SUPER-QUICK & Super-EASY!!! My kind of crafting because the end result is Super-AWESOME!!! Going to make some now, thank you for sharing! BE BLESSED!!! 😍😍😍👍👍👍😍😍😍 Yaasss, SHABIFI-IT!!!!
Great idea. I can imagine this as a lovely background for a bead embroidered broch. It wouldn't soften the overall look since bead embroidery can be rather stiff. I have some wide hem lace and some seam lace (used similarly to seam binding) that could work in place of the nice wide decorative ribbon you used - since it will be cut to shreds. I'm always looking to use what I have on hand, and you've got my wheels spinning with this idea. TFS!
Just had to tell you that I LOVE how easy and genius this is! Love that your creative juices are working. But babe “Edward scissor hands” and “shabalicious” 🤣🤣🤣 you kill me. 😘😘😘
Shabbyfy is a word. You used it, it's cute and now it's a word...;) Your shabby flowers are really pretty. Thank you for sharing...hugs from Arizona...;)
Very pretty! Just a thought. You might want to use thread or string to wrap around them instead of rubber bands because, over time the bands will break and your beautiful flowers might fall apart.
I was looking for a headband to wear on a retreat. Making flowers like this to replace some that looked like this 🌻. They looked cheap and maybe not age appropriate. ha. I wish I could show you my finished product. Thanks!
Oooi I'm so happy that you made this video. I've been seeing a lot of people making adorable flowers with coffee filters but i have some SERIOUS #adhd and those are just wayyyy too many steps for me. "CRAFTING", most of the time, is VERY therapeutic for me and I can sit for HOURS {as long as my back holds up lol} but I just CANNOT do things that have that many different steps, ESPECIALLY doing all that and then having just ONE FLOWER. Lol I WISH i had that much patience, but I just don't. However THESE are right up my alley! Thank you so much for sharing! I found a really big package of pale pink lace at a thrift store like at least a year ago and it seems like I ALWAYS need/use lace for projects but as SOON as I get a big o bundle {especially in my favorite color}, my mind goes BLANK as far as the things I was wanting to make with it! 😘
Great Video! I’m glad I stumbled across this, definitely going to give this a try! I give all you ladies who have nails and do crafts credit because I would jamming my nails all the times lol
Not craft related, but as I read your comment in my head I'm hearing the deep breathing of Darth Vader ...then imagining him in an intense lightsaber fight and, "Luke *Breathing* I *Breathing* broke *Breathing* a nail! *Breathing*. Sorry it's late, I'm still up, and that is where my mind has gone. Blessings, Tree : )
This DIY is just wonderful I'm going to try it today thank you for sharing decorating for the fall gets expensive if I get colors of fall and do this would save me some money for decorating my cabins
I really liked how you shabbisized that! I just discovered those little hair rubber bands from the Dollar Tree while making the noses on Christmas gnomes. The rubber bands are surprisingly strong. Your flowers are amazing. Thank you very much.
Another Genius idea and I Love Love Love it! I can lots of flowers and bows being created by everyone! TFS and Take Care Sweetie... Big Hugs, Sue Ann 👍🏻😊💝💙💜

Agreed. Lovely idea.
@@kathyhartwell2476 The emphasis is on the "chic", not the "shabby". Don't take it so literally, and yourself so seriously.
