I have it set to 1080/60fps. That should have no effect on focusing though. Think it might be a software issue but you cannot reload the software. Must be done at the factory. Thanks for your input.
I just checked, it is in the MP4/iFrame setting, not AVCHD. 108o/MP4/50fps. I will try that tomorrow and see what results I get before sending back. Thanks.
Are your shooting video with OIS on as it suggest to turn it off. Mine worked great for 5 months but now seems to go out of focus. Tried everything. Any suggestions?
Tried different things this morning, OIS on or OFF, differ formats, same results. :-( Packed up and dropping off at the PO to ship it back. Thanks for everyone's input.
Super test video creation congratulations too! Great video production! Thank you so much for sharing! Good day!

Amazing quality and zoom abilities.
Woo, same camera as mine. It will serve you very well, I love mine to bits.
Although I must suggest that you dive into the settings and put the video quality to AVCHD 27Mbps/50p - you will get great results that way.
+VehicularBrit I would, but editing 50p videos is really pc resource hungry!

Looks good from my point of view
+Kent Rail Observer yes happy with it, all we need now is some steam trains.
Camera quality looks fantastic, but it seems that the audio leaves a bit to be desired.
What are the low light videos or photos look like?
Same camera as mine love the stabalisation, I do reccomend a external mind though
+MrThrash37 Yeah, I have a good directional mic with wind sock i currently use, and i have a plan to make a furry built in mic cover.

yes OIS is on always, works fine and has done for a year, sorry dont know why yours is acting up
If not using a tripod, OIS smooths out the results. Same as UA-cam does if you use their stabilzation feature but to me ruins the image.
yes I know that, I use OIS and tripod for most of my shots, some these were hand held on zoom to test the OIS
