2:57 that is a 2004 Legacy B4 2.0GT Spec. B WR-Limited it’s a special edition with a lot of goodie STI parts. It’s really shame whoever junk it don’t appreciated of the car from what I’m looking if this exported to the states worth a lot.
That STI Genome exhaust goes for some good money. That front bumper on the blue Spec B goes for about $200-$400 in the states. That interior goes for about $800 with door cards. Hell, the full aero splash guards front and back go for $200-$600 depending on condition and if you have all 6.
9:07 it’s a Touring Wagon, and to answer that question Jason. Yeah, I feel the older model B4 starting to get rare either most majority has export from other countries/Japan or been crushed.
Last week I saw a super clean AE86 in someone's garage. It's snowing now, but the owner says he drives it as a daily during the summer days. What a beauty
Great video! Glad to see you back in Japan. As a is200 owner it's kinda sad to see this much altezza in Junkyard. Would love to get some parts. Keep doing great content Capt26
The world rally blue legacy spats and everything you can remove are literally gold in the states. They are LITERAL unicorn's. Genome exhaust are 1k+ in good shape
Seeing this makes me think about all the Daihatsu Moves my parents had. We only got them untill 2001 but they were little rockets for their power to weight ratio.
Its crazy how much jdm car sales have changed the past 4 years. Im in ontario canada, in 2017 there were hundreds of jdm cars for sale around here, automatic r33 skylines for 10k, r34s for 20k, mint s15s for 12-15k… now people want 40k for a “ drift missile “ s15s that were clearly tracked and abused.. shits insane man,
That white Toyota is a Starlet. Touring Wagons are 5-doors, more like Station Wagon Corollas. As far as that Legacy STi, you can strip the interior out of it, bumper extensions, muffler and every STi goodies out of it, and make money from it in the states!!
Do you know what the best car dealer is over there to be able to get one to the US because I've heard bad experiences about the Japan partner off of the web
My heart goes out for that rusted out Starlet. I remember a friend's mom who want to sell my bud's 84 Srarlet to me for just 15k.pesos, a real bargain. I got the money and came back the next day but the car is gone and so is my dream of owning one. RIP Dave, sorry I lost ypir car, buddy🙏🙏🙏
5:33 you know, my dream car is a z33 fairlady, and its so sad that someone just crashed the shit out of this car, but also i can see american kids who can just get z33 easily cause in america the fairlady is not that expensive and lil kids hust ruined it. It hurts me so much.
This is just straight up false. I've owned and re-inspected several vehicles in Japan that are over 60,000 miles. You need a safety inspection every 2 years, as long as everything is sound there's no issue.
@@Peppy11769 I currently live in Japan and work in an automotive adjacent industry. We have a Suzuki Every that's 260,000km that passed shaken this year, we have a diesel car carrier that's 760,000km, I drove a 140,000km Mitsubishi for 4 years.
Unfortunately it's by design the Sha-ken in Japan is meant to be used as 'population control' for cars rather than safety by making old cars so prohibitively expensive to own.
@@coolcatmeow77 i hope they all get exported so they can be driven and appreciated. It’s always sad to see a nice car getting crushed or parted out when there’s nothing wrong with it

Interesting the Altezza’s are dime and dozen there Jason at least thats good news from parts perspectives prices will somewhat be kept in check.
Or you can just grab Altezza now so you don’t have to worry about stuff being kept in check
